We had a great stay. Very friendly staff, fine rooms and the outside shower was special!
Good breakfast, and nice dinner, specially the game stew.
Location, just a few km outside the south entrance of Addo is great. Snall pool, not for swimming.

The rooms where very nice and spacious and clean. The outdoor shower is lovely. There was no warm water before 6 a.m. and when there was warm water it wasn't enough to fill the bath.
Dinner was nice for adults, for small kids it was a bit poor.
We where unlucky that the situation was a bit chaotic, the owners went back to France during our stay. So not everything was arranged well. This is probably due to the situation. All together we had a nice stay.

Luxury location perfect for visiting Addo Elephant reserve. Very classy facility providing exotic dining with venison of kudo, warthog, zebra, etc. on the menu. Note: None of it tastes like chicken - merely more like beef. Only complaint was that heat had been shut off and a windy cold wave came in making it a brrrr situation that second day of visit.

We had dinner here whilst staying at the Matyholweni Rest Camp in Addo. I understand there were a couple of new trainees in the kitchen so a couple of side dishes had to be sent back as they weren't hot, but apart from that the meal was lovely, service very attentive and the slight problems were kindly reflected in a reduced bill at the end of the evening. My son appreciated the free wifi after staying in the Rest Camp(!) and the honesty bar was a nice touch. Thanks Isabelle and Christopher

The atmosphere was charming and very welcoming. The clean room had a comfortable bed and a surprise outdoor shower. Dinner received our gracious approval and an added compliment to Isabelle, for her yummy desserts. We took Christopher's suggestion and arose early to visit the park and see all the wonderful early morning feeding of the lions, elephants, zebras, warthogs and jackets and then returned for a great breakfast and then off again, to finished our tour through the park. Top notch day!

We had dinner here twice. African cuisine cooked by french owners was excellent. We didn't stay here. So we can only write about dinner. The buffet was very good on one day. The second time we had zebra and kudu. The sweet potato gratin was also delicious.

Extremely well placed at the south entrance of Addo Elephant Park, the hosts of this exceptional B&B offer no less than their best. They treat you to a variety of African plates with a french twist. The best cuisine in town. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and tidy. THe staff is also incredibly helpful. We found many interesting things to do thanks to their aid and organization. We highly recommend this B&B for all travellers with different expectations as they tailor everything to you!
