A little pricey at €90 per night, included a spartan breakfast, friendly owner, VERY clean and sweet smelling hotel. Comfortable beds, fresh linen. Best aspect is that it's right on the main 'promenading' street so you are put of the door and in the thick of it with good bars and restaurants

We stayed one night at this B&B. Room was fine with a view onto a busy main street. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace and whilst the view is good, the breakfast was disappointing. We paid €100 per couple which was expensive compared to what we paid in Palermo, Cefalu, Catania and Syracuse for far better accommodation. The owner is very pleasant with little English so take your phrase book with you. Parking is at the railway station and costs €8.50 overnight. My recommendation would be to stay closer to the Valley of the Temples as Agrigento is not a pretty town.

A very small B&B in a lovely old palazzo on the main drag of Agrigento (no lift, steep stairs, not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties). My room was tiny, but beautifully furnished with a small balcony, and a nice, midern bathroom. The wardrobe, however, was stuffed full with blankets etc.,leaving little room for my own belongings. Also, the in-room safe did not work.
The host is an absolutely charming gentleman, obviously keen to see his guests happy. His English is pretty poor, but he decided my faltering Italian was sufficient, and we got on fine! Breakfast is usually only served from 9.30 to 10.30,but on the morning of my departure he turned up at 8am as I had an early bus to catch. The breakfast is a fairly modest affair, with juice in those small cartons you might pack in a child's school lunch, and ham straight from a packet! The fruit basket was nice, though,as were the croissants, and the coffee. On the first morning the lovely host set up a little table for me on a small balcony off the breakfast room with a great view of the temples area.He also explained in detail how to make the most of my visit to the temple. All in all,a very pleasant stay.

Great family run B&B. Very clean room and bathroom, lovely interior; even though the building located on the central street, it’s quiet. Good continental breakfast plus the owner prepared fresh fruit salad. The owner – Ignacio – is hospitable and very helpful. His recommendations for dining were excellent. Ignacio not just recommended good restaurants; he also made reservations for us.
We arrived on Saturday evening when the main street (where the hotel is located) was turn to pedestrian only street. We called and Ignacio came to pick up our luggage, then he helped us to find parking.
For someone who’s planning to visit Agrigento we’d definitely recommend this place.

In the middle of Agrigento, on the main street that turns into a cheerful mall on the afternoon.
A family-run tiny B&B. Very clean and nicely organized.
Great view of Valle dei Temply from the breakfast room's balcony on the top floor.
Quite though located on a main street.
The owner puts a lot of effort, yet with poor English.
Great breakfast with fresh pastry.
Parking is a problem, so the best is to call him beforehand and make sure he comes down to help find one (he's good at it :-) )
