Most:The rooms were just as we wanted. The service at reception and in the breakfast room was very friendly and efficient.

Least:The stay was too short.

“It is amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014

I know Greek, so to be honest I didn't expect too much. I was wrong, the temple, and all the valley is amazing, in fact in my opinion is more beautiful then Athens because of the landscape. There's a lot of trees and the valley view is outstanding. If you can stay in the hotel Villa Athena, do it, the temple view from the hotel pool is unbelievable, mainly during the sunset.

“Wonderful Sicily - Agrigento”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2014

I visited Sicily in mid August, and one of the stops was Agrigento, Valley of the Temples (Valle dei Templi). It is protected by UNESCO, as world heritage, which truly is. History of this place dates back to 6th century BC, when Greeks build it! It is just amazing experience to visit such place, and walk down ancient streets and see all the temples, build almost 3000 years ago.
Hill of the Temples (Juno, Concordia e Hercules)
Opening times: every day 8:30- 19:00 Last admission: half an hour prior to closing time

Temple of Zeus, Sanctuary of Chtonian deities and Temple of Dioscuri
Opening times: every day 9:00- 19:00 Last admission: half an hour prior to closing time

Admission ticket: € 10,00 per person

I had a wonderful time visiting this place, and I believe anyone else, who decides to travel to this location will enjoy it as well. Don't forget your hat and sunglasses, and lots of water. This place is hot in summer!
