Fantastic site, fairly well maintained. Fairly good interpretation for UK visitors. The temples and their history are fascinating. Ancient Greece in Italy - it is important to understand the history. If you are over 65 take proof for cheaper entry. Site is split in two by a busy road. The quieter western side was free access when we went in early May. That side leads to the Giardino della Kolymbetra which is a restored garden with ancient Greek origins. Well worth the few euros entry fee. We walked there from Agrigento, and it was a bit of a hike but going down hill. Walked back up hill to take in the Archaeological Museum, which is huge but well worthwhile, although its access is a bit hard to find. I would not recommend the walk in hot weather though.
