We had lunch at this restaurant on 25th April 2013. This is a national holiday in Sicily so not much else was open.
The food was very good and the service was fine.
We sat outside on the terrace and were treated to a view over the roof tops of Agrigento.
Would certainly recommend this place for lunch.

How lucky we were to be looking at the Michelin guide and standing right in front of this restaurant. It was early but still a few tables on the terrace were already seated so we joined in. By the time we left both inside and out were full. The specials looked appealing and the tiger shrimp were like lobsters. We had a selection on contorni to start (the frito misto with stuffed olives, fried cheese etc) is good. Spaghetti pomodoro was good but I was really excited to try the pasta sarde (with sardines, pine nuts, and lots of good stuff like wild fennel). It was delicious. A half liter of sfuso (house wine) is 3.50 euros. A nice dinner with pleasant surroundings and service for 40 euros! The Michelin guide warns to check the bill. No problems and completely accurate to the last detail. Would recommend for simple and reliable dining.

We were recommended this restaurant by a local when we said we loved Sicilian seafood......we weren't disappointed! Mussel soup to start was so good. The primary plate of mixed seafood pasta was so simple and yet so tasty.....so typically Sicilian. The bread and local white wine were also good and the mixed salad could have been a main course by itself! Very nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly and helpful. We timed it perfectly because the restaurant completely filled up within 30 mins of our arrival. Great value for money - a fine dining experience and very affordable prices!

I ordered rustica and grilled fish as starter and main course, don't miss rustica if you are here, it's a mixed platter of local ingredients, you can get the most out of Sicilian taste. Fish is fresh, not especially impressive. Good service, they have tourist menu, maybe friendly to money.

This is a small and charming osteria right in the centre of the old upper Agrigento. The owner and staff are charming and helpful, the prices are reasonable for excellent food. Don't miss the pasta with pistacchio sauce.
