After a wonderful, but hot day touring the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, we headed to this hotel we booked months ago. Tired from the sightseeing, we were surprised and pleased that it was only a 5 minute drive from the Temples. However, there's really nothing else nice to say beyond that. The rooms are painted a very intentional shade of pink. The bar is not tended by anyone. The pool seemed to be closed more than it was open. The restaurant looked like a sleepy banquet room. The place was clean and fine, so a convenient overnight stop without a lot of driving at the end of the day. We did have a wonderful dinner away from the hotel (recommended by the hotel staff) which we highly recommend. The restaurant "Capriccio di Mare" is a 5-block walk along a busy road from this hotel. You will be rewarded once you arrive as the only ones in the place who are not locals eating heaping platters of seafood, terrific pizzas and drinking local wines.

Me and a friend booked twin room for two nights in mid Oct via UK booking site for €49 per night incl. breakfast. At arrival the staff was very helpful and gave us a lot of information. When we arrived at our room it turned out to be a family room with one room with double bed, TV etc. and one room with twin beds plus balcony and bathroom. All we had to do was to decide who sleeps in which room.

Rooms and the hotel were very clean. My only negative comment is for the small shower cubicle which made me bang my elbows on the glass screen. The breakfast had great variety and pool was nice place to have a little swim before our journey to the airport.

The staff were really polite and professional. Just make sure you dont look anywhere else when you ask for a glass of wine at the bar. I did and the bar tender kept pouring local wine into my glass before I had a chance to ask him to stop. I ended with over 3 dl wine to drink while trying not to fall off my bar stool. All this for €2.50.

We booked a family room but were split into 2 rooms due to the cleaners being behind on their jobs. This meant our family being split for our 2 night stay which was far from ideal to say the least - although we were told that we could sit and wait for the room to be available but couldn't be given a timescale. Clean and tidy rooms, well equipped, good aircon and decent bathroom - very noisy from next door's flush though! Helpful front desk but the breakfast waiters were uninterested and struggled to even get a coffee on the first day. Ideal for exploring Agrigento and the surrounding areas.

The guy at the front desk was a delightful man, very engaging, quite humorous and self effacing and very helpful....so expectations were high from there.
Unfortunately the good experience ended there. Room was nice and big.....toilet wasn't in operation, bed was like a rock....flinstones like. Struggled to sleep.
Location fair, but in agrigento, you should stay there, not Mose.
As we departed the staff were again great.......

Stayed here for one night as part of tour group. Hotel rooms large and comfy and got to sleep once traffic noise stopped. Drawback in the bathroom is that the shower is so small you could not retrieve the soap if you dropped it. Caters for tour groups so food is mass catering buffet type, there was plenty but no real quality. E-mailed for quiet rooms away from road and lift noise, my friend's and my rooms were opposite lift! Very good location for sight seeing.

Room Tip: Ask for room near swimming pool which is at back of hotel.

The hotel is located a very short drive from the magnificent Greek Temple Valley (on the way to Agrigento). The town itself where the hotel is located is not attractive at all ... your best pick would be a port town of San Leone (4km away featuring good restaurants and some life, although don't go there before 8pm).

We had problems with finding the hotel as we were following the map provided by booking.com. It's at the main road (on the left when coming from Agrigento). Free private parking in front of the hotel came extremely handy.

Check-in was very fast (15sec or so; probably the fastest check-in ever).

Our room was located on the 1st floor - this became a big disadvantage as the room window was facing a patio (with a palm tree in the middle); so in theory anybody could look into the room; however we never spotted anybody outside. Decor of the room was very "cold" with terracotta floors both in the bathroom and in the room - hospital feeling. Very basic furniture. Small and old TV. Our double bed was actually a joint twin bed. Bathroom featured a very small shower area (you wouldn't like to drop a soap in there).

At 8am we were the only guests for breakfast. Breakfast was basic, but good; featuring both a selection of ham and cheese as well as warm pastries.

One of the reasons why we picked this particular hotel was its swimming-pool. However it was closed both in the morning and in the evening.

Very good customer service both at the reception and breakfast.

One night cost us 63 EUR incl. breakfast.

If I was to visit Agrigento again, then most probably I would have selected the same hotel for my future stay, but not for more than one night.

Room Tip: Don't take a room on the 1st floor.
