Very good place to stay in an authentic Agriturismo veryb close to the Valley of temples in Agrigento. It still grows its own olive trees, and prodcing its organic olive oil. Warm welcome from the owner. Very good breakfast with home made marmelades, fruits, etc... Large 2-kevels flat, with terrace outside. No air conditioning, but fan on the ceiling of bedroom. A little difficult to find however. A pool is present, but we didn't try it.

We were looking for a family friendly environment that we could relaxe in and the kids could roam free. Recommended by friends this was the perfect location for all of us with super helpful management, home grown food served on the shady terrace, a great children friendly swimming pool and lovely well equipped self catering apartments.

Although buses run to and from the beach and Agrigento throughout the day I would recommend car hire, also the village of Mose has been affected by some pretty wacky building sprawl but in a way that is authentic Sicily. All in all we will be back.

Room Tip: All the apartments nestle into their own courtyard but we had No 6, which I think was the best

Just minutes away from the Valley of the Temples and within striking distance of many other historical sites. The staff speaks fluent English and was very helpful in planning daily activities. The self catering units are well equiped. Wonderful dinners ( wine included) available on prior request. Email inquiries answered immediately. Electric security gates.

If your are looking for accomodations in this part of Sicily you won't find anything better.

My wife and I stayed here - with Chiara, the wonderful owner/innkeeper - for 2 nights in October. Although we'd never been there before, it felt like home. She treated us like family. The estate itself is a rambling working farm, with 500 year old olive trees, a handful of dogs and cats, and stories of history behind every corner. The food was amazing - there is no reason to eat anywhere else. The only negative was that our bed was quite uncomfortable - more like a slightly supportive cot than a mattress. But, for the price and all of the other good things, that was just fine.

There are rooms in the 18th century manor house - the communal rooms are huge with 12 foot high ceilings and lovely old furniture. Breakfast is served here on an immense table. We didn't see the rooms though as we elected to stay in a self-catering apartment in the converted stable block - private terrace and shared barbecue area. Immaculately kept. Well-equipped kitchen with stove and oven. Chiara (the owner) and Sergio were charming. 10 minutes drive to the Vally of the Temples. Only down side is that it is a working estate so there are animals around and they don't always stay quiet at night.
