The Fattoria itself is beautiful and the accommodation very rustic, which is not a problem. We have stayed in many agriturismos in Italy over the years. We do expect them to be clean though, no matter how basic. My sister and her husband in the double bed upstairs were eaten by fleas.
My main complaint, however, was the food. We paid €25 per person for a very poor meal. There was no antipasta or starter. A vegetarian pasta was served with bread as the primi. And for secondi there was grilled vegetables and cheese. Dessert was melon and a pastry. While I understand that there may have been a few vegatarians for dinner that evening, there was a very large group of people so different dishes could have been served. There was no coffee or anything else offered. This is in complete contrast to all the other agriturismos in Sicily we stayed at who offered a much higher standard for the same price.
Breakfast for €8 per person consisted of juice, coffee, bread, jam, some cheese left over from the night before and a few slices of salami. Very very poor.
