We spent the night here so that we could easily access the temples and specifically so that we could sit and look at the Temples illuminated at night. We deliberated between here and Villa Athena. We are so pleased we chose this one as it is so close to the temples and such great value. We had the top room which has a very large wrap around terrace facing the ridge from where you can VERY clearly see all the Temples which is fab as the sun goes down and the temples turn a warm gold. You are alone at the top which is fab so we bought food and wine and sat there all evening staring at the ruins, it was superb. The bed was kingsize and comfortable and the room is a good size. It is very clean, as is the bathroom , though getting rid of the bath and replacing it with a large shower would be a bonus.
The breakfast is amazing , you need to be a big eater to really appreciate it , sadly we're not but did manage to eat the gorgeous pistachio croissant.

The owner and her family are charming and more than happy to help with anything you need.

Tip: park in the hotel car park, then walk a minute or two up the road to where the taxi's wait in the car park. 3 euros each to get up to Juno temple entrance, makes life easy in the heat.

Room Tip: Have the very top room, amazing value.

Stayed at this B&B one night based entirely on the previous reviews. I made the reservations for two rooms months in advance, through the B&B's website. The reservations were waiting for us; two rooms on the second floor, facing the Temples. The rooms were spotless, beds were comfortable and the showers were large. I didn't bother with the TV, but the WI-FI was operational throughout the visit The Temples were only a 10 minute walk away. The young lady at the reception desk (I believe the owners daughter) was very friendly. After we checked in, we were relaxing from the drive, and she came to the room with a pot of vanilla tea with sesame bisquits. Later, she provided tourist maps of the area, and suggestions for dinner. The following morning breakfast was served and consisted of a mulitude of crossiants, pasteries and breads, along with yougart and juices and coffee. The breakfast was large and we could not eat half of it - the staff offered to pack it up. The wait staff returned with a beautifully gift wrapped package of the crossiants and bisquits that we had not eaten. As we were leaving, the woman who had been making the coffee during breakfast introduced herself as the owner. She thanked us for our visit and gave each couple a bottle of wine. In my opinion, there can be not be a "friendlier", better situated hotel or B&B in the area. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the Valley of the Temples. .

Room Tip: Pick a any room that faces east and offers views of the Temples.

We loved our stay at Camera Con Vista, and wish we'd had more than the one night we were there. It is a short and relatively easy walk to the Valley of the Temples, though it is also easy to get a cab if you are not into walking or if it is too hot. (We were there in October, and it was perfect). The view from our patio was so lovely. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and price was right. Because we were on the first floor, I was concerned that it would be noisy at night, but it turned out not to be a problem at all. Also, there was parking, and flexibility around leaving our car during the day as we toured the Temples, after a nice breakfast on the deck. We loved the manager and we loved our stay.

Very close (walking distance) to the Valley of the Temples. The hotel has views of the archaeological site or the sea. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet with dependable WiFi. The host was professional, knowledgeable of the area, and helpful.

Room Tip: You have a choice: view of the ruins (spectacular at night), but no balcony, or the sea with a balco...

Camera Con Vista is a wonderful place to stay to visit the Valley of the Temples. It is close by with wonderful views of the Valley, especially at night with the lights highlighting the temples. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and very good value. The manager and staff are very welcoming and helpful. We loved our stay here.

Room Tip: Book the room on the top floor for the best view of the temples. Book a guide to see the temples. O...

We stayed here one night. The location is excellent for visiting the ruins. The Archaeological Museum is a short ride away and a bus stop is very close if you don't have a car. The hotel is located at the foot of the Valley of the Temples - there is a taxi stand about 400 yards away and they can run you up the hill to the top entrance to the Valley. This works perfectly - after visiting the Valley, you are at the bottom and right across from the hotel! The owner was very friendly and gave us good info on visiting the beach area and a couple of restaurants. We didn't have time to visit the old town, but with the buses there, access would have been easy. We got our choice of filled croissants in the morning.

We chose on of the huge upper floor rooms with a great balcony and lovely views across open countryside to the sea one way and the ridge with the valley of the temples the other way. Sit on your balcony in the evening and gaze at the beauty of the ancient temples so beautifully illuminated! Situated across the road from the main car park, you can walk into the archaeological zone, leaving your car at the guest house parking area. Spotlessly clean, great shower and bathroom. Comfortable beds and absolute peace at night gave us a great night's sleep and the excellent breakfast fuelled us up for a day exploring the ruins. Nello and his staff were charming and friendly. We would highly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Worth paying the small amount extra for one of the top floor rooms.
