Modern art work that doesn't lend much to the near by temple Concordia. Wonder why it is here? The area is replete with ancient history so it doesn't need a modern touch

This one is less preserved than Concordia, but still an impressive site on top of a hill it can be seen for miles in all directions.

A fabulous statue of Ikarus - after he fell out of the sky..A statue from a Polish artist who left it here in Agrigent after a big showig of his work. Modern art meets Greek temple!

This was a cool thing to see in front of Concordia Temple. A fallen angel statue. It is much larger in person than it seems in the pictures. It gives the place a very mystical feeling. Great photo ops!

I was not able to walk the way from the park entrance to the 3 temples and back again, so I opted for the 'shuttle' a small electric 6-seater that traveled at about a fast walking pace, backwards and forwards along the central route.About a kilometre each way. Half way, we stopped for about 2 minutes just to let us take photos of the temple from the roadway! For thew cost of the far, we all thought he could have stayed about 5 minutes which would have satisfied all of us, as we could have seen the other side of the temple.

Again, the remarkable condition of the temple is a further example of the care in building taken two-and-a-half millennia ago!

Ya gotta see it!
