This hotel is located on the outskirts of the town of Agrigento, within sight of the temples of the Valle dei Templi. Immaculately kept by dedicated, helpful staff who did their best to make us feel welcome. The rooms are large, well furnished, leading to a shaded patio area. We found this an ideal base for rest and recuperation after the exertions of temple visits. Beautifully kept grounds and gardens.

The hotel is set just off one of the main regional roads around Agrigento and is surrounded by what looks like a now disused fruit tree garden. The garden gives this hotel the atmosphere of an agriturismo, only is this of course larger scale and better appointed. Our room was not on the garden side but on the highway side of the building, which gave a little bit of noise nuisance but it was easy enough to filter out using earplugs.

The room itself was a two story thing, with the bathroom up a steep flight of steps. Never seen it this way before, and it does make you think twice about going to the toilet in the middle of the night. The decoration of the room was fine though nothing exceptional, and the same is true for the bathroom. Frankly I have a feeling that we were given one of the low cost rooms, which is probably fair enough since we booked a cheap deal on the internet. Rooms with a view of the garden are probably bigger, certainly don't have noise from the highway, and don't have the in-house staircase to the bathroom. That said, I still found it a nice place and would recommed staying here, though don't even think about it when you don't have your own transport.

Good location, calm and quiet, friendly staff. We had a large, attractive and clean room opening onto the garden terrace. The breakfast buffet is generous. Everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Nice bar area overlooking the gardens to relax at the end of a long day walking around the temples.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Agrigento and our stay at the Demetra Hotel. We were greeted by Giuseppe (manager) who was charming and helpful. Our room was spotless with a very comfortable new bed. The room includes a fabulous buffet breakfast overlooking the garden. The Demetra is less than 1 km to the temples and some of the rooms have a temple view. We highly recommend this friendly, lovely hotel.

A excellent new hotel about a half a mile from the Valley of the Temples. The room was superb, the staff extremely professional and helpful and the restaurant served such good food it was not worth thinking of going out to find somewhere else to eat
Some work in the grounds and the opening of the pool this winter will make it even better
We thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Agrigento

This hotel was excellent. Completely clean, spacious, and can tell it has only just opened. The food in the restaurant was nice, but partner was very disappointed to get a very small portion.

Only disappointment was that the pool is still getting built - Expedia stated that there was a pool. It will be open for next summer season.

It is also quite away from the town of Agrigento and a car is definately required to go to and from the hotel

this is a new hotel and it's in a very good location near the valley of the temples in a quiet area just off the main coast road passing through agrigento. there is a nice garden and this rather small hotel (20 rooms) has a very beautiful lounge and nice clean cool rooms with supurb airconditioning. the staff was very welcoming with a free welcome drink from the bar. the rooms have a door to the terrace facing the garden where you can sit and relax in the evening or morning. very nice breakfast (including eggs...) the price was low for the value...(100 euro)
