From the start the waiting staff had no interest in us, perhaps because we weren’t Italian, we tried the very best to speak Italian with them so we weren’t ignorant tourists. We waited 40 minutes for drinks, 30 minutes for starters - which we didn’t eat until we got our drinks. We waited another hour for main courses - which were fine but not impressive compared to other Sicilian restaurant standards we experienced. We felt powerless as we couldn’t get even get their attention long enough to order a drink.
Terrible experience (ecspecially considering the price) and wouldn’t go back despite the beautiful setting.
We are currently sitting her at midnight, having started dinner at 915 waiting on desert.
