Very nice rooms with modern furniture and excellent service for a very good price.
Also the restaurant is fine.
The only two problems are: the distance from the city center if you have not a car, and the wifi that is not free.

For 84 euros you can't beat the value of this hotel... And that includes breakfast! We ended up here because all the 5* hotels we wanted to stay in were either booked due to the Labor Day holidays or way too expensive (1,000 euros?!?!). We chose the AC hotel because it looked clean and modern. The other 4 and 3* hotels looked old and traditional and that's just not something I'm comfortable with. Yes they may have a lot of character but I'll take a clean bathroom any day. I was a little skeptical before we arrived but as soon as you walk into the lobby your fears are put to rest.
We've had a great experience and it's very easy to get to A1 to travel around tuscany.

I really appreciated the simpleness and elegance of the room.
I can't say my staying was as good as it could have be for two reasons:
- First I had problems with the height of the pillows that was too high and caused us neck and back pain. Surprisingly when we tried to have lower ones we found out there was no other kind of pillows in the hotel.
- Secondly, we were awaken by the receptionist asking us at what time we'd leave the room to allow room service. I would have appreciated if he'd asked me the night before or if he'd informed me that there was a morning schedule. I would have had the chance to decide whether I wanted or not room service that day. Shouldn't be my right to sleep as long as I want on vacation?

We stayed here for the one night whilst conducting business locally. This was our first experience in a Marriott hotel, and it was, to say the least, a big disappointment. Our first impressions were good, and the place has a 'designer' feel, without trying too hard to impress. The room was quiet and quite spacious, and quiet.
The staff at reception were quite helpful when we arrived, but that all changed the following morning when we awoke that there was NO RUNNING WATER, either hot or cold. We immediately contacted reception to be told that engineers were working on the problem. We were not updated about the problem, and needing to move on to Rome that day after our business meeting, we had little choice but to freshen-up as well as we could.
Breakfast was self-serve, but it was necessary to ask the waiter for the non-self-serve stuff. We noticed that every person in the dining room was having the same problem in getting the waiter to respond to requests - he appeared to be ignoring the guests.
We had a long dialogue with reception on checking-out, but they offered no reduction in the charges for the lack of water in the bathroom, although they did apologise for the waiter's behaviour.
I took this matter up with Marriott's Customer services, but they would only refer me to the Hotel. the hotel's completely unsatisfactory response was 'In case you will decide in the future to honor us with your presence, we will be happy to make up for it'. On the basis of this appalling treatment I will NOT be returning. (Read on for our nightmare at another Marriot Hotel the following night)
We returned to Arezzo about four or five days later, and needless to stay we avoided the AC and had a lovely room with PLENTY of water at the BEst Western Galileo Palace near Arezzo

We used Arezzo as our home base while touring in Tuscany. We used Marriott points to stay at the AC Arezzo. The hotel is attractive, clean and comfortable, with a very helpful staff; however, it's out of the way and definitely a cab ride from the train station and the old city. Nice hotel, not conveniently located, though. If you rent a car, it's a good choice. The parking is free and getting around Arezzo is easy.

The room is small, the lobby is small, the restaurant looked dull, no walking distance attractions. You feel like on transit. I had a good sleep though!

The breakfast was very poor, with only one waiter serving all. The corridors, rooms and bathrooms were modern and elegant.
