The place is big stone old and monastic.
And its situation is fantastic. way up on the hills overlooking Arezzo. Hard to find. The trick is to find Via de Redi and turn left at the sign to Pomaio not afterwards.
And keep going. Up and up and up -and up.
The staff make this place. Joseph Fiori and Valentina (and others) could not have been more helpful.
It has a great wine list good food (loads of it) lovely dining rooms and the rooms are simple but have everything you need.
And its all very quiet.
