We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the working farm. The villa was sublime... stunningly gorgeous. They couldn't do enough to help. We ate dinner twice and would highly recommend the food. They make the jams on site, wine and olive oil come from the land. A quick zip by car gets you nto the quaint town..... the two main squares are spectacular.... we had incredible pizza on a side street.... recommended by Villa Cicchi staff. And for shopping, ask Elena (or her staff) where: Tod's, Prada, and especially Gran Sasso are located. Tod's and Gran Sasso have their main plants located within about an hour's drive. Also, I think the regional white wine is called "pecorino"..... a wonderful aperitif. Paul
