We go since over 20 years around mid octobre to the region of the due laghi near Avigliana. This time we were 16 persons and we went for the first time to the Trattoria Croce Bianca. It was probably one of the best experiences we ever had in Piemont. We had 6 cold antipasti (nice toast with speck, delicious vegetables in tomato sauce, the probably best vittelo tonnato I ever had, formaggini, carne cruda (tartare) a la piemontese and 1 warm antipasti, 2 primi (gnocchi a la bava and agnolotti die carne als sugo di brasato) and a main course (tagliata die bue, porcini e polenta) plus desert. No more comments. If you are in the region, do't miss it.
