Brilliant staff, excellent room and breakfast,
This was our third visit to the Capri and we both enjoyed our stay. The room, although a superior was not as good as our previous stays, the bathroom was especially tired and the shower[over bath] proved awkward and not too easy to use due to the position of the shower. One other minor fault was when my wife and I asked for an extra pillow each I was surprisingly informed that there was no spare pillows and only two pillows are allowed for each guest. We have stayed in many hotels and I must admit, this was the first time we had received such a negative.
Never mind, we did not allow this to upset our stay, we just put the bath towels under the pillow.
We both think that this is one of thest hotels on the lake and would recommend the Capri.
Who knows there maybe a fourth for us.

Just back from a lovely week in Bardolino staying at the Hotel Capri.
A lovely relaxing, comfortable real Italian Hotel.
We stayed in a superior room on the second floor, spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had a good sized balcony overlooking the swimming pool.
The location was excellent with either the longer scenic 15 min walk into town or the shorter 10 min walk along side streets which takes you into the centre of the old town.
All the staff we met were excellent, friendly and helpful, someone was always on hand if you needed but without being intrusive.
The breakfast is probably one of the best we have ever had, plenty of choices with fresh fruit, lovely light breads etc which I love on a summer holiday, and always fresh and always replenished.
Only wish we had longer than one week, we would love to return again.

We had room 204 which overlooked the pool and was immaculately clean, bed was very comfortable with quality linens.
Hotel well located for lake and restaurants.
Variety & quality of breakfast items were superb.
The staff & owners were pleasant and extremely helpful.

Room Tip: 2nd or 3rd floor rooms overlooking the pool get sun on the balcony for most of the day.

Stayed for 5 nights with my fiancée. The hotel was clean and rooms spacious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Pool area perfect, we managed to get a sun lounger whenever needed and the bar had a great selection of drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. It was the perfect base for our stay in the beautiful Bardolino. Would highly recommend!

Had a fabulous stay at this gem of a hotel. The location was excellent and the staff were lovely. Having a pool was also a massive bonus in the heatwave while we were there. Loved the breakfast also. We booked a classic room on the poolside that had just been refurbished. These have been decorated in a contemporary style and in neutral colours. Everything was brand new and it looked amazing. Great lighting, including lights that come on when you open the wardrobes and very useful reading lights, beautiful wallpaper, attractive bedding, furniture with rounded corners, contemporary flooring, free safe and a flat sceen TV. The bathroom was also lovely with a great shower. Wifi was fine. The aircon was excellent and very welcome! From our balcony we could even see the lake between the rooftops. The refurbishment of these rooms has been completed to a very high standard and are now more 5* than 3*.

We booked direct with the hotel as this worked out cheaper and was really easy. We didn't have to pay until we were there and emails were always answered really quickly. I really think that the hotel need to update their website to show photos of these rooms as I nearly didn't book as I felt the rooms looked slightly dated (note only some have been refurbished). Also the photo of the dining area shows tables very close together, another thing that put me off. However the tables are laid out very well and only the middle ones are close to accommodate larger groups.

We had a wonderful stay and this hotel ticked all the boxes for us. We would certainly recommend it.

Room Tip: 306 third floor pool side - refurbished so well and glimpses of lake over rooftops.
