Stayed at the Idania for a week from 18/06/2018, the hotel in close to town a five minute walk ,but it is right on a very busy road so some noise can be heard by the pool.We were in a room at the rear of the hotel it had no balcony and the carpets were bulged up in places, the room was clean and we had a fair sized bathroom, and air con which was a bonus. The breakfasts were cereal, fruit , fresh bread, cake, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and various other items, quite sufficient or anyones taste. You chose from a menu at breakfast for your evening meal three starters, mains and vegetarian course, and a help yourself salad bar this again was served quickly by the four lovely waitresses. Dessert was help your self service and you could take you bottle of wine with you to the lounge, or they would label it and it would be on your table the next evening. The lounge was spacious and cool drinks were a reasonable price All the staff we encountered were approachable friendly and helpful, WE would stay at this hotel again

Stayed for one week on half board basis. The ground floor and dining room are very light and airy with a nice bar area and guest lounge. The evening meals were nothing to write home about but we were always full. There is a help your self salad bar before the three course meal. You need to order the first two course each morning for the evening which is not quite what I wanted to do . There was a voice of three items for the first and second courses with a small dessert buffet table.
The bathroom was small and the shower probably the smallest we have ever been in. Apparently there are three types of room and TUI had not told us this and we were in the most basic on floor three Other floors had been modernised and rooms much netter.
The staff were wonderful, always speaking and helpful. We will probably return but on a bed and breakfast basis in an upgraded room.

Room tip: Too on floors one or two but make sure modernised

We are currently staying at this hotel and have been here for almost 2 weeks. It is situated within 5 minutes walk to the town centre and only a few yards from the tourist info centre and bus stops. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are exceedingly helpful and friendly. We are booked on a bed and breakfast basis where there is plenty of choice. The pool area is also very clean with ample sun beds after a days sightseeing.
My only negative is there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room which would be nice after a day out.

This hotel is by far the cleanest i have stayed in. The staff are extremely helpful, and eager to assistant in any way. My room was not the most modern, but very clean and comfy. No air conditioning in our room, a central fan, which did the job, just as well. We didnt use the pool, but apparently it was quite cool, so refreshing can be a welcome extra. We would love to return as bardolino is a beautiful town, quite lively, with lots of interesting thing to do. We had a very happy holiday at Hotel Idania !!
