If you are planning a vacation on Lake Garda don't worry about finding the right hotel, just go
straight to Hotel 4 Stagioni in Bardolino.
Located in the center of town, it has a video-monitored parking area, beautiful bar equipped
swimming pool, large park with hundred year old trees where you can relax and sun bathe, fully
equipped spa with various amenities including relaxing and holistic massages, sauna hydro massage and Turkish bath.
A very pleasant atmosphere and tastefully furnished perfect rooms.
But what makes the stay a special and relaxing vacation is the courtesy, availability and professional attitude of the Hotel owners and the personnel.
It's like being in a peaceful oasis.
For me it was an unforgettable vacation which I can recommend to anyone.
I hope to go back soon.
Thanks to all the staff.

This is a fantastic hotel! Staff lovely rooms large and very clean, breakfast was an abundance of great produce with home made cakes and pastries. The gardens for sunbathing are lush and well cared for and lots of shade as it's been 35+ degrees! The pool area is a delight with a spa area to sit and relax. My favourite early evening activity was using the free indoor spa facilities! The aromatherapy showers, steam and sauna relaxed you before finally using the hot water spa pool. I will be coming back for another pamper very soon. Thank you for a fab stay the families Phayer & Taylor

Room Tip: Do not miss it a gem in the middle of a a fantastic town

Just spent a week B &B at the 4 stagioni.
The hotel is in an excellent location ,just at the start of the resort centre ,adjacent to restaurants ,shops and only a few minutes walk from the lake . It was great to walk out of the hotel and be in the heart of it all . No long walks or shuttle buses etc required !!
We booked a superior garden view room.
This had a king bed ,a sofa bed ,table and chair ,a terrace balcony with table and 4 chairs and a good size bathroom with shower ( no bath ) .We booked this because it was classed as a bigger room but it actually was just adequate .
It had a flat screen tv which we never used as it had no English channels that we could find but not bothered about a TV anyway .note that it did have a radio with an iPod docking station ,a hairdryer ( didn't use it as always take our own),slippers ,minibar fridge ,kettle .
There was no noise from the street at all .However there was a young family next door who woke us at 6 am every morning .not the hotels fault ,just one of those things .......
The beds were comfortable .
Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice including scrambled eggs and bacon .The cappuccino was lovely ! You could sit outside on the patio or inside the dining room .We had lunch in the hotel a couple of times and it was very nice and actually cheaper than outside . Likewise the bar prices were very reasonable .
We found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful. In general the atmosphere was relaxed and informal .
The reception staff were a little surprised when we asked for help with our luggage .Our room was on a floor not directly accessed from the lift .They did oblige but we felt a bit awkward about it .
Perhaps the hotel management should actively offer assistance for guests in these circumstances.

Re the hotel facilities . The pool and garden area was clean and quiet and loungers always available even though the hotel was full. The pool wasn't heated so too cold to swim at this time of year . The lounge areas in the hotel were beautifully furnished and a pleasure to spend a little time here .Bikes were available free of charge and we made good use of these cycling as far as Garda which was only 15 minutes cycling .Wonderful ! Garda definately worth a visit .
We didn't use the spa simply because we wanted to enjoy the outdoors .

We took the boat to Gardone riviera which cost 30 euros return for 2 ,& took an hour . Wish we hadn't bothered ! Nothing much to it and the promenade was being dug up and upgraded . Luckily there was a boat back 90 minutes later .
We had hired a car from the airport which we had booked a week before .A 4 door fiat for £115 from hertz /auto Europe . Free parking in the hotels spacious car park . We took our own sat nav which really helped .
Drove to Sirmione which was about 30 minutes drive . That was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring this lovely little town. Very much a day trippers paradise but glad we were in bardolino as I am sure it will get very busy here. We also went to Verona and visited their churches ,the Arena and Juliets balcony . Well worth it ,a great day out
Market day in bardolino is Thursday . We had a good browse and thought it good value ,range and quality for a market .The shops in Bardolino were great to browse too but definately more expensive than the market .
We visited many restaurants and only had good experiences.
There is an Opera event in the Teatro Classico in Bardolino 3 to 4 times a week . We booked this through the hotel . This cost 20 Euros and lasted for just over an hour and included a glass of prosecco . We were entertained by a soprano and a tenor accompanied by a pianist . It was pleasant and we enjoyed it but don't expect a grand production !

In summary we would highly recommend this hotel and the resort and will definately return .

This is a most relaxing place. We found the staff very welcoming and helpful especially the ladies at reception. The pool and garden areas were spacious and uncrowded. We had a superior room with a garden and pool view which was worth the extra money. The breakfast was wondereful. The food was plentiful and of a very high standard. The highlight for me was the juicing machine which allowed you to create fruit drinks of your chioce. Would love to see the hotel do half board as I am sure the meals would also be wonderful. The only complaint was the lifts did not give direct access to our floor. Not easy going upstairs with cases. My wife had injured her leg in a fall just before the holiday so the stairs were quite difficult for her. This certainly did not spoil what was a wonderful week in Hotel 4 Stagioni.

Room Tip: Superior room with a garden veiw worth the extra money.

We stayed in this nice hotel for two nights, and was very pleased with everything. Just read all the other reviews.
We would say this should be a 4 star hotel and not a 3 star. Very helpful frontdesk, nice pool, nice rooms with air-con, good selection for breakfast, free parking etc. Could be a little bit difficult to find the hotel as the car entrance is not on the road used as the hotels address.
Would stay again if in Bardolino.

As always when you book a hotel there is always the anticipation on arrival that the hotel won't live up to expectations but this was definitely not the case! From the street the hotel looks quite modest but inside you are greeted with marble stairs, antiques and very friendly staff. The car park is to the side of the hotel, an absolute bonus when parking and space is at a premium. The gardens and pool are stunning; quiet and relaxing even at peek times! Plus there are plenty of sunbeds to chose from. The room was of an average size, but who wants a massive room when the weather is sunny and the pool is beautiful!? On our first night it became apparent the air conditioning wasn't working. The manager tried his upmost to get it working but he couldn't. He provided us with a fan for the night and by midday the following day it had been repaired by an engineer. The bar was totally adequate and the staff will happily serve you food and drink by the pool. Breakfast was excellent with a superb choice and selection. As for location, you are in the middle of Bardolino and although the streets are quite hectic at night you can hardly hear them in your room with doors and shutters closed. Although there is a spa I cannot comment on it as the weather was too nice to be sat inside. However, we did have a peek inside and it looked lovely!
I did book this hotel after reading the reviews on trip advisor and I will add that some are a bit harsh. If you don't like the coffee, don't drink it.....we had cappuccino and as for terrible service we did not experience this. Overall, a fabulous hotel and one that I would return to.

Room Tip: All rooms have balconies; ours overlooked the street, one overlooking the pool may have been nicer.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Just the right size. It has aura of clam and peace. Breakfast is really excellent with a wide variety of dishes every day. We had a lovely room over looking the most beautiful garden and pool. The garden had plenty of shade and was very private and tranquil. Our room was very comfortable and well furnished and was kept extremely clean. All the staff were very helpful and the service we received was very good. The public areas are very tasteful and well presented with plenty of private areas to sit and read. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a small hotel with good service.

Room Tip: We had a superior room which was very quite, but all the room seemed comfortable.
