Staying for a family wedding locally, the seafront hotel was comfortable, with very helpful staff, good little restaurant and a seafront balcony made the most of the short break. You fall onto the seafront promenade where the whole town spends time. Parking in the street was available with hotel reserved slots and town was a five minute walk. Pavement cafes abound so the hotel is a good location to explore the local area. Despite the train running nearby we never heard it in the double glazed room. Recommended.

Thr location was very nice. The hotel sits at one end of a long promenade. The hotel price included breakfast which was not excellent, but for 3 star hotel - ok. The tables for breakfast is well placed right across from a public beach and we were able to injoy the seaview. There is small free public parking (8-10 cars) next to the hotel. And we were lacky left our car there overnight. If not, the hotel has paid parking and there are big pay parking. We 2 times had dinner and it were better than breakfast with 4-cours menu 24 Euro. The place is very convinion for trips to France (Menton, Nice, Monaco) and San-Remo. The room is clean, modern, and well decorated, with flat screen tv with hundreds of channels. The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel doesn`t have own beach. But opposite hotel there is public beach.

Lovely hotel at the end of the traffic-free promenade.
Spotless room- well equipped- balcony with splendid sea view.
We've stayed at Piccolo Lido before and found it to be every bit as good as last year.
Pleasant and helpful staff helped to make our visit a real pleasure.
Thoroughly recommended.

Room Tip: We felt that a sea view balcony room was well worth the extra charge.

We´ve stayed at the Piccolo Lido 10-15 times during the last 5-6 years. Great hotel on a fantastic location in a very charming non-touristic town with the best climate on the italian/french riviera.
We.ve travelled to many parts of the world over the years; this is hard beat!

Recently stayed here for one night in the middle of the off season. It cost us 130 euros for an upper floor sea-view room. The place a couple of doors down wanted 160. The place across the street wanted 90, but they didn't have the views and it didn't seem as clean.

The room was great. Large, comfy bed. Big, open room. Modern. Nice bathroom. Great balcony with 180 deg views. Amazing views (even from the toilet if you get an end room). Part of our morning view was a school of dolphins cruising by!!

The location was very nice. The hotel sits at one end of a long promenade. The promenade or accompanying beach are both great places to get in a decent walk. The promenade also looks like it has some nice bars and restaurants, but many are closed in the off-season. The town had a few more places to eat, but many of those were closed too.

The hotel price included breakfast and parking in one of the four spaces out front. There is also a free public parking lot for the promenade next to the hotel. We left our car there overnight with no issues. I would not count on either of those options being available in the high season. If not, the hotel has paid parking.

The breakfast was not good. Out of 5 hotels, this was by far the worst tasting breakfast we had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back. The hotel is well placed right across from a public beach. In July, the water is turquoise blue and we were able to enjoy the view right from our sea-view room on the third floor with balcony. The room is clean, modern, and well decorated, with flat screen TV with hundreds of channels. The bathroom is very nice with rain-shower. The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. The afternoon self service tea was an added plus, which we enjoyed on the second floor terrace.

Breakfast was very plentiful, with juice, coffee/tea, fruits, meats, cheese, yogurt, and all kinds of breads.

Thursday is market day in Bordighera, and the market is a few minutes walking distance from the hotel. We picked up kilos of sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts, all kinds of Italian sauces, and of course beautiful leather goods (the Italian-made ones were slightly more expensive than the imported ones, but well worth the price).

Wonderful, warm hotel with gracious Italian hospitality.

We were very fortuante to obtain a room in this lovely establishment, even with the impending F1 due to take place in a couple of days.
The price originally quoted was the off season however when we arrived we were quoted the peak season price. The extremely friendly receptionist was kind enough to honour the original price and provide excellent information on the area. That being said we found all of the staff to be very accommodating and seemed to go out of their way to be both friendly and helpful.
A short and inexpensive train trip to Monarco was great, but the clear blue waters of the Mediteranean was just outside our door.
Breakfast was a treat and one of the best we have had in months of travelling.
One morning we sat outside, on the board walk having breakfast and the entire length of the walk was covered with market stalls. Very impressive.
Free Wifi, again a bonus.
I couldn't recommend this place highly enough and management should be congratulated on a job well done.
My only regret is that they couldn't match their original price for another couple of days.
