“Fantastic restaurant!”
Reviewed 23 October 2011

Peter and his wife are wonderful innkeepers and incredible restauranteurs. Their down-home style is perfect for Cingoli. We have eaten there several times, and Peter always outdoes himself. If you order pasta for more than one person, they bring it out in the pan and dish it out for you. Peter really knows how to cook, especially meats. I have never been disappointed. This last time we couldn't decide on our pasta, so Peter suggested he bring us a little of both he was offering that night. Perfect suggestion. Then three of us shared a plate of lamb. It was so incredible tender and tasty. I don't know how he prepares it, but I never enjoyed lamb more. After dinner Peter took a lot of time to talk with us. Be prepared to be entertained. He really loves his work and loves sharing it all with you. We loved the tour of his kitchen, of which he is quite proud, and hearing all about his business. Both he and his wife work very hard running their B&B and restaurant, and the rewards are all ours. And the price was too low to be believed: Three pastas, lamb, bread, 2 bottles of water, and a bottle of wine: 36 Euros. Don't even THINK of going to Le Marche without going to Villa Ugolini. From Cingoli take the road to Macerata. Villa Ugolini is about 3-4 kilometers down the road on the left, just past a blue sign for a construction supply house, Mondo Ediliza. If you want authentic Le Marche cuisine and down-home folks, find them...you'll be glad you did

Room Tip: We have a house in Cingoli so don't stay in a B&B, but the restaurant at Villa Ugolini is ju...
