Monsignor Della Casa Country Resort
Certificate of Excellence

Instant Relaxation! Those are the two best words to describe this place. Even with two kids, this place instills a sense of calmness and serenity. The overall stay was fantastic, even if for only two nights ... They have just everything you need right there. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful; the food was fantastic; the ranch had much to do for the kids (pool, soccer field, playground, tennis, bikes, etc) and for the adults (adults-only pool, spa, exercise room). There are also some great activities nearby ... We spent hours at the Adventure Park (a large outdoor obstacle course for all ages). We also went horseback riding, which was beautiful and serene. The two-story amenities are well worth the extra cost if you have more than two people. The only minor items I would enhance: better WiFi coverage and heat the pool. This is a great place for families wanting to visit Tuscany - I will certainly go back.

The Monsignor della Casa resort is one to suggest for a couple of very meaningful reasons:
very good quality.price ratio and position.
Service is a strength , quaity of the food is quite high , houses/rooms are good .
You just need to be aware that for lunch there is a limited service ,so you 'd better to buy something at a supermarket before getting there.
The position is another strength , because it is quite close to the highway and Florence.,which is something to take in consideration when you travel across Tuscany.

Room Tip: The single houses with a private pool are recommended

One week spent in the hotel - of a 2 weeks break in Tuscany.

Lovely hotel with a variety of pretty, rustic buildings - in a delightful setting.

The food was excellent - and there was also a great choice of Tuscan wines. This was a particular highlight for me, and eating wonderful food outside on a warm Tuscan evening is unbeatable! There was a fixed menu, but on certain nights they would introduce special local dishes. Scrummy!

The staff were fantastic. They were some of the best hotel staff and waitresses we have ever encountered - so friendly and so accommodating.

The accommodation was good. Everything you needed, but the bedrooms were too dark for me. I understand the need to keep the rooms cool, but the natural and electrical light was insufficient in the bedroom. No big deal really. If you need to use the kitchen, then take all the food and drink you might need, as there are only some teabags when you arrive, and nothing else. Conad in Borgo is a good shop.

The pools were great and I used the gym. Was a bit surprised that we would have to pay for the Jacuzzi etc. But the gym/spa area is quite small. One rainy day, we all had a massage, and that was really good!

We did some mountain biking and walking in the area, which was really good, and the scenery as you ascend the hills just gets better and better. For serious stuff, you definitely need a good map, as many roads come to a dead end, or you end up on somebody's drive! It's a lovely area of farms, forests and hills.

The nearest town, Borgo San Lorenzo, was a bit disappointing, although we found a nice restaurant there. The tax free shopping in Barberino was excellent. Florence is a 30 minute train ride away.

Really recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this little piece of heaven for 5 nights. We arrived 1 night early and we are so glad we did. It was our first time to Tuscany and it will not be our last. Monsignor Della Casa has everything to offer for a relaxing holiday. The views are fabulous, the food was excellent, and the staff were delightful, nothing was a problem. Our waitress Simone was such a cutie with a wonderful warm smile on her face always... We were there for motor racing and I just had to have 1 day on my own at this fantastic place for some " me " time. I had 2 massages which were excellent the only problem...I had to go back to the rack track the next day! Good shopping outlets not too far away which are worth a visit. This is for sure one hotel that we will book again. 10/10 nothing at all to complain about at all

Room Tip: I believe they are all good

We stayed here near the end of September 2013 our 20th wedding anniversary. From the moment we got there we were treated fantastic. If you are trying to decide, look no further. The rooms, the spa, the restaurant and the staff all awesome. If you don't stay here it's your own fault for missing out. We were all over Italy and saw a lot of places so if you can even just for a few nights do it.

We spend 3 days in this resort in october 2013. We were looking for quite, spa and good location in Tuscany: Monsignore della Casa is exactly what we were looking for! Along the way to come to the resort you can see the wonderful panorama and the famous tuscany landscape. We book the superior room over the restaurant, really nice furnished, clean and comfortable. The Spa and the treatment were good, we did not use the pools (too cold) but the garden looks perfect for spend a couple of our close to the pools. We booked a cook classes with Patrizia: what a wonderful idea! I recommend this resort for romantic escape and family.

Room Tip: Wherever you are is quite

I visited this place together with my parents and my brother's family - five adults and two children. Our flat (Fattori) had everything you need as a big family - even three luxurious bathrooms.

The view from the resort is best described as scenic, and in the changing weather of October it changes over and over again to reveal yet another beautiful detail of rhe mountain or surrounding areas.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful and you get the impression that they know exactly what you need. My four year old niece even made friends with the gardener who gave her a rose and some other flower when she came to see what he wad doing.
