Large American Cemetery. Not to be missed when traveling in the Province of Liege, between Aubel and Henri-Chapelle.8000 American souls are resting here from 1943-1945.Immaculate buildings, graves and landscaping.Very sad but definitely a place to go.

Very nice area. the staff are very friendly and know many things about the heros buried there. I have a family member there and made me feel so nice to have a great place for him to be so far from his family. it is definetly a place to go !

On our last day in Liege we decided to visit the Henri Chapelle Cemetery. It is about 35 minutes by car, and worth seeing.
If you are interested in military history, especially WWII you must not miss this.
It was a brisk, cool morning when we reached. The buildings and grave sites have been masterfully designed. You can learn a lot from the brochures provided. For me, the most dramatic was the Tester brothers, three young men who died for their country during 1943-45 and are buried here.
