“Impressive building and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014

The building from the 1930s is imposing in a monumental way and has some terrific original features (while we were there they were using it as a film location). The staff were all extremely welcoming and made for a very good stay in this underrated city. We had a large bedroom with sitting area and bathroom with two showers and a bath, this was for a very modest online price. The breakfast was fantastic, a huge choice. The location is great, right in the centre of the city between the three main squares; we arrived by train, the station was about a 15 minute walk or one stop on the metro. Our room was very quiet thanks to metal shutters, just a bit of noise when people were walking about upstairs. A couple of criticisms - the bed was very hard indeed and water pressure a little low. Excellent value to stay in a slice of history.

This hotel was charming ,but dated. The only modern amenity was the wifi. This is no boutique, or trend hotel.
We pulled up to the hotel, and we're lucky to find a parking space right in front. This was a big plus. The check in was seamless. The elevator only fits 2 people comfortably. The room was facing the entry side of the hotel. It was quiet. The room itself was old fashioned, in a good way. If you are looking for an authentic experience, this hotel has a special flair. It has old finishings. The woodwork is exquisite. Old chandelier. Large marble bathroom. Everything is old, but clean. It is a charming gem in the center of Brescia.

Room Tip: The side we were on was quiet. We were facing the entrance side.

My First trip to Italy and I will say the staff was very helpful with any information or request I had. the hotel was very clean at all times. the breakfast was great, always a great selection of patsries meats bread and cheeses and beverages. The location to restuurants ,shopping and the metro was great, just steps away.

Room Tip: some rooms have balconies that have great views of the city and the castle on the mountain.

Fantastic style hotel which is made for a large part by marble. We stayed two nights for a very fair price in a very large, comfortable room - absolutely wonderful! Brilliant location in the center of Brescia. Staff extremely polite and helpful, free parking included. We will definitely go there again!
This is a type of hotel, which feels genuine, not many left of those! Highly recommended!

The Vittoria is an Art Deco hotel from the 1930s in the centre of Bescia. It is on the one hand in its original state yet very, very well kept. In fact, it could be a set for a period piece. Everything is in perfect working order, the furniture is period furniture and the bathrooms are brand new. It really is like stepping into a different world. The Vittoria has to be the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff are very friendly and helpful yet also discreet. I sometimes find it annoying when they do too much. At the Vittoria you are helped in any way but never bothered. My room was beautiful, with a balcony and a view overlooking the roofs of beautiful Brescia. It was furnished perfectly and had a fantastic wooden floor. Breakfast was very good. It featured a large variety of cheeses, clod cuts and fresh fruit. There was also a chef preparing fresh eggs in any variation you may want. I had the best espresso in years there as these days even in Italy a lot of people use too much water. All in all a perfect stay in a spectacular hotel. Prices were very moderate.

the hotel was very good but the service at breakfast was terrible.we were there for 5 days and every morning it got worse. first morning there was a coffeemaker for selfservice but no coffecups.all the other days we had to order the coffee which took forever. nothing on the buffet was replenished when we came a little after 8.00 we had to take the left overs and this in a 5 star hotel. every thing else was very good.

Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent accommodations. Definitely would stay here again. Excellent for traveling with a car: parking garage is underground next door to the hotel and the fees are covered. Our room was recently updated which was even better. A great value!
