We discovered this little cafe away from the center of town and the duomo near the museum. It caught our attention because it seemed all the local people were going there to eat. Agorà Caffè is a small bar/bistro that serves excellent traditional dishes as well as panini made with regional Prociuti and formagi. It is very clean and intimate inside. Be sure to bring cash as they do not accept credit or debit cards.
We started with a typical caprese salad and had a panini with prociuto and cheese on fresh focaccia and had an lasagna with artichoke hearts. This accompanied with a small picture of the regional white wine, Franciacorta, came to only €28. The food was delicious and as we have always found in Italy, very fresh. The service was helpful and friendly. It is always better if you speak Italian in Italy but, if you don't, the host also speaks English.
