“Seen one, seen it all ...”
Reviewed 13 July 2013

It is a church like any other big churches. Nice paintings on the walls, pretty big building, but it doesn't stand out with anything. If you don't have the time to see it, you won't miss too much ...

“Must see”
Reviewed 19 August 2012

The contrast between the side by side churches is really to be appreciated. The Dom is rich whereas the besides standing church is austere and poor.

“Bressanone Sud Tyrol Italia”
Reviewed 25 July 2012

This a beautiful small town set among the alps and containing beautiful churches ,mediaeval streets and the piece de resistance the present music College with its Cloisters (from the church) with their absolutely beautiful frescoes. There is a large piazza with two beautiful churches one pale blue with yellow towers. There are many treasures in the shops in the narrow streets and Huge wine stalls which are very colourful. There is an open air restaurant in the square with the most friendle and helpful staff eg. I had had a stomach upset and fresh asparagus soup was made for me.I travelled by train from Trento both ways ie via Bozano and by the German train to or from munich(tickets in this case bought on the train.I would thoroughly recommend this lovely town with its friendly inhabitants..

“Beautiful double church”
Reviewed 17 May 2012

Brixen is a cute, charming tirol city. It reminded me of being back in southern Germany. The church is in a courtyard and is actually two churches(one is a duomo). It opens onto a wonderful platz with cafes and fountains. It was beautiful in the spring time.

“Best part of Bressanone”
Reviewed 9 November 2011

When I saw pictures of the duomo here, I fell in love. Seeing it in person is is even better. The square it is in is very pretty and there is a cool fountain there too. I am glad we went and would go back in a heartbeat. We thought about staying here but there is not much to see or do. I am glad we stayed in Bolzano because there were plenty of restaurants, stores and a much larger place to wander. We expected to spend several hours there an only spent an hour. There is a restroom next to the police station by the large parking lot just outside of town.
