We have just come back from the best ever skiing holiday in Canazei staying at Villa Emma and we just don't have enough words to describe an outstanding service and hospitality of all the hotel staff . Warm and friendly approach of the hotel staff made us feel like at home and the exceptional service made us feel like very special guests.

Rooms are specious and very clean (especially bathroom) with hot water and good pressure throughout the day. Most importantly rooms are very warm (some nights we even had the window slightly opened). The room was with TV and the balcony, overlooking beautiful Alps .

The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from Belvedere ski lift and about 10mins walk from the town centre. For those who feel lazy , ski bus stops in front of the hotel. The good thing was that next to ski lift was the place where we rented equipment and left it overnight which meant that after skiing we were free to walk back to the hotel or straight to town centre without carrying any of the ski equipment (saved us lots of energy)! Being just outside the town centre, it was very quite during the night on one hand but still close enough to reach all the town amenities in just 10 minutes.

The food is great and all the restaurant staff is exceptionally pleasant. The breakfast is served by 9.30am , however we would often arrive late but still find both warm and cold breakfast available.

All in all, it was a very special holiday and we are already planning on coming back next year! Big thank you to all the members of staff of the Hotel Villa Emma! See you next year!

I have just got back from a week skiing in Canazei staying at the Hotel Villa Emma. The location of the hotel for skiing is excellent with a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the center of Canazei and the main lift. The accomadation itself was however very basic. I stayed in a single room which was fine as a crash pad which i used it for but furniture was pretty dated including the bed and the bedding. Bathroom, although didn't have a bath was Ok with hot water always available and a decent enough shower. The staff tried but few of them spoke any English so brushing up on your Italian is advisable. There was little direction on how to order food so I struggled to even eat on the first night. 2 other nights out of the 7 I was not given a choice of food and one night out of the 2 felt like they just gave me whatever they had left. The other 5 nights were fine as you could order for the next night from a menu the night before. All in all the food was fairly poor. Very little imagination and very basic meals most nights like meat and potato wedges with no vegetables. There were some vegetables on a buffet table but little to choose from and always cold. Continental breakfast not brilliant either. I know the hotel was only a 3 star but for the money paid and in Italy (famed for their cooking ability) I expected more.
