Stayed for a week with my wife and Bed & Breakfast arrangement in a double room facing the back (not a great view from the balcony).
Just a lovely hotel with great service. We only had dinner at the hotel one night, since we preferred to pick our own restaurants.
Breakfast was great and kept us going in the slopes well until 14.00 when we could have a late lunch.
One of the days was my wife's birthday - the reception arranged for a wonderful bouquet of flowers at the breakfast table and also recommended a restaurant in a nearby village for a little fancier dinner.
The spa area was also top notch, must have been very recently built - super fresh and relaxing.
The ski slopes were also great - we had plenty of snow and sun and enjoyed the mostly red pistes. Three counter-clockwise sella ronda turns (the clockwise direction was closed between Arabba and Canazei) during a week.
Stay away from the Seiser Alm area - long bus ride for nothing. The Arabba - Porta Vescovo was our favorite with some nice long black slopes down to a 5 minute ride up again. No queues at all anywhere.
The skiing in the Canazei/Belvedere was also very good and a made for a great start and finish every day since all visitors seemed to disappear at around 16.00.
Can heartily recommend both Canazei and Hotel AstoriaMore
