Hotel Candiani

On business had a few nights stay here. On premise restaurant was very good fare, although pricey. Still a delicious meal and no need to walk elsewhere.

But if you do want to walk a bit (in Europe-why not!?) this hotel is so close to the city center you will find many a culinary treasure nearby. Also the historic castle is certainly within walking distance as is the river Po and more. Old world charm in a very historic city. The cathedrals are wonderful awe inspiring works of art.

The hotel itself is well kept, clean and the staff are very helpful in many languages! Room was comfortable, clean and with inside access very secure. Drinks in the lobby at night with colleagues rounded out a very nice trip.

I learned that the hotel used to be a stockyard/beef processing facility. Lol. European history is amazing to us from such a young country as the USA. If your looking for the most convenient hotel in Casale to sightsee and not need a car, Candiani is it.

I stayed there for business , visiting the factory of the corporation i work for. Clean , quite rooms , spacious , friendly stuff. Breakfast can be a bit more enriched but it is not bad.I think that it is a "value for money" location.

We found this hotel quite by chance as we were travelling through Casale Montferrato enroute to Cinque Terre. The welcoming reception was very nice and friendly and we stayed just 1 night . Importantly the rooms were clean and quiet , had a bath and the Tv worked fine and the rooms were really quite big ( with a big bathroom.

Next morning our breakfast buffet was as good as any we have experienced in Europe ( Great coffee and a really nice lady in the breakfast bar area.

But this is where it gets better with customer service....we had a problem with a toll road ticket accidently not being paid and I was very worried about this. Paulo and the manager lady ( sorry i have forgotten your name) were EXTREMELY helpful in helping us to solve this issue ...(well I hope it will finally get solved!!), Thanks you very much for doing that for us this morning Sunday 30 June. Kind regards Paul and barb

Room Tip: We had rm 104..although roadside we didnt hear any traffic at all.

We stayed here for 1 night as part of a cycling tour. The hotel is a short walk from the old part of town. Rooms are very spacious, nicely appointed and overlook a grassed courtyard. It was hot when we stayed there and the AC struggled a bit. Staff were ok - experienced better and worse. Breakfast spread was ok too, again experienced better and worse. Overall it was a nice environment and I would recommend it as a place to stay for 1-2 nights.

Kind staff, good size of rooms, very good restaurant. Wifi EUR 5 for 24h. Big parking.
The breakfast buffet is not very big and the tv is as old and as of poor quality that no channel can be watched.

Stayed for one night while en route to Tuscany.
The receptionist, a loofalike for Russell Crowe in Gladiator, was less than welcoming.
Our room was large and comfortable and the bathroom benefitted from a bath as well as a shower.
The bed was fine too.
Breakfast was standard continental fare and the breakfast room was well managed by a woman who helpfully boiled us some eggs.
No reason not to go here. The area it is in is nondescript but the old centre of the town is pretty.

Used this hotel several times on bizz trip. Not far from the factory I was visiting and within a city limit, good for eve walk. Service is average. Rooms are comfortable, but no one cares about protection against mosquitoes which are quite hungry in the area. B-fast is very poor, classic Italian. Bathroom is big and clean. Well equipped. Quiet night guaranteed.
