We have been favoring this restaurant for a long time, this is a family run business. Da Leo is the maitre'd , waiter, and owner. His father in law brings the wine and water and bread. His mother in law supervises in the kitchen, and at busy times, even his wife helps out. Always cheerful, owners, clients, everyone. Plus, the locals all seem to know some one there. The place is never empty., often there is a line up.
The service could be slow at times, but this is Italia, they love to enjoy their food.
When Leo sees you return for the third time, he accepts you as a regular, and often will suggest a daily special that is not on the menu. The menu is not a big variety, but the dishes are all excellent. The contorno of the day changes, much like the soupe de jour, and we are seldom disappointed.
