I went in with a poor attitude. The tents/cabins are super close. ie. 600mm. It was 800m walk from the bus stop - not 300m as advertised. I'd read reviews of noise, Mosquitos, unfriendly staff.
The closeness of other campers encouraged friendly communication or just smiles. The other campers were all happy and it was contagious. It is just how they camp here.
We were furthest from the entertainment so noise was ok though would have been really bad if you close and were not attending. The entertainment or animation as stated was quite good for amateurs.
We went in mid-summer and There were only a few Mosquitos.
The staff were helpful if asked. I really tried to have a positive attitude here and I'm pretty sure that helped.
Internet is free if you stand near the coffee shop. It was painfully slow but ok to check emails.
The pool and slides were good but closed before 10am and after 6pm. Crazy as I like swimming outside peak heat times.
You have to wear a plastic bracelet for your entire stay which everyone seemed ok with. I ripped mine off and kept it in my pocket. I did feel like a follower - a sheep which is pretty demeaning.
The supermarket is very good and quite reasonably priced. Same as supermarkets outside the resort area.
Kids soccer was poorly run as kids are grouped into under 5-6 and the overs - so my 8 year old got 3 chances at touching the ball in the one hour of training but was faced off against an 11 year old who was an excellent player. The best kids were grouped together every day all week and dominated the rest. This seemed to be done intentionally.
Despite all the negatives we had a good relaxing holiday.

We stayed in this nice camping place two weeks in July and one week in August. It has very good location. Anywhere you have your caravan, it´s close to beach, shops or showers. Its very nice area and we like the good security system- there were guys all the night cycling between caravans, so we felt really safe. There is just one restaurant and its not very good. One day was food OK and the next was disgusting... Anyway you are close to town, so you can go for dinner there. Or you can buy something in the very good equipped supermarket which is situated in the camping village and cook something for yourself ;) We liked that vacation. The ońy BIG problem was unprofesional employments. It was all the time problem for them to deal with everything. (You just couldnt normaly talk to them...Italiens). There was problem with reservation, problem with sunbed and umbrela ( no way to change place) problem with everything. It always take looooong time to resolve the problem. There was just one nice smart woman you could talk to her, She was manager. Anyway the area is very nice, showers and toilets are rebuild and new and its close to Lido di Jesolo and Venice. There was animation program everyday and pools were not deep and good for children. We would like to come back next year.

This was our first time for such a camping vacation, and we really enjoyed it!
We had booked a Top Residence Gold Holiday Maxi Caravan. Everything was very clean and well stocked, with plenty of room.
Plus points: Big pool perfect for children, not too deep. Our Caravan had a huge wooden covered deck, big enough for a full 6 person table, a table for a grill and 2 sun chairs. The camping place is a short drive to the Port to Venice. Bike rentals were great to get around, with bike paths all over the peninsula.
Negative points: Animation was good for children, but the show after was too loud. It music could be heard all over the campground till late in the night. The caravans are too close together, our deck was 2 meters from the next deck, and one has no privacy. We had good neighbors, I would hate to see what it would be like with bad ones. Luck of the draw I guess.
Sun chairs on the beach were chained to the umbrella giving you no freedom to move them around under the shade. Shade was also a problem at the pool area, been the lack of shade.
My tips: Rent bikes and go riding, lots of quiet roads to ride along.
The market in Cavallino is quite big, go by bike as well as there is almost no parking because of the crowds. We always took the public ferry over to Venice, one is more flexible with times you can come back. Do a round trip to the islands (Burano, Murano) the boat drops you off in the north of Venice and you can walk back to San Marco and catch the boat back to Punta Sabbioni.

Our family has been visiting this campground from 1984 when it was only a couple of pine trees covering a lawn onwards until now where has become a 4 star campground with ample amenities.
We watched the gentle transformation and have yet to find a reason not to return. Forget wifi and business centers (they have both avail. if you must), leave the devices and work at home, enjoy the pristine beach, the beautiful ocean, the safe and well maintained campsite, the great food at the restaurant, Aldo who still works the grocery store, the amazing entertainment and activities, the closeness to markets and Venice, it has everything you can wish for.
No luxury resort but never claimed to be such. Make new friends or just enjoy the dolce vita with your loved ones. Couple of Mosquitos sure won't kill the buzz, you have elected a camp site so come prepared.
It's an amazing place, full of wonderful memories and visiting is a great escape from the stress and worries of everyday life.
I can highly recommend a visit and will keep coming back myself.
Grazie Mille!!
