My room was very small, but the hotel was just three blocks walk from the beach and directly across from a few little shops offering water, coffee, gelato, baked goods, and one larger store with all the necessities of travel-- shampoo, sunglasses, beach towels, and the like. We were also just a short hop from the ferry dock for our trip to Venice.
The hotel staff was friendly, and the meals were quite good.
I didn't use the pool, but others in my group were quite happy with it. It was clean and had many tables and chairs for relaxing.

This was a quirky beach hotel! The decor is equal parts bordello, beach and glam! Lots of mirrors, red velvet and crystal. It is a 30 second stroll from the beach, has a lovely pool area, coin operated laundry and a cozy bar.
Our room was fabulous, ocean/pool view with white and turquoise decor very beach luxe! We loved it!
Food was awful, which was devastating to me as I had never been to Italy and had very high expectations. Perhaps they were making menu selections for our 70 Canadian teenaged companions, but they hated it too. Breakfast was stale birthday cake and sweets, boxed cereal and coffee. No fruit, cheese, meat, eggs.... I didn't expect bacon and eggs but last weeks dessert sampler was just yucky.
Staff were friendly and helpful, it's a family owned and operated hotel and they did a lovely job of accommodating us. I would definitely stay again, but I would take my meals elsewhere. The immediate area has loads of shops and cafés and Venice is a short drive and ferry crossing away. The beach is fabulous 13 miles (so I was told, I didn't walk the length of it!) of lovely sand. We visited in the off season which was lovely and quiet. And being Newfoundlanders the April water was plenty warm by our North Atlantic standards!
I would recommend this hotel to travels who appreciate the nuances of travelling abroad, who are not overly fussy about the little things, and don't mind exploring the surrounding area for good food!

Dear Mrs Emmyfp,
we thank you very much for your nice words. We are happy that your stay at Hotel Ca' di Valle was nice and confortable. We hope you will be able to come back during the summer because we offer to our guests one private place on the beach of Ca' di Valle with sunbeds and umbrellas. We thank you for appreciating the cleaning of the rooms and of the entire Hotel we try to make our best to mantain all clean and well. Your trip was nice also because from Hotel is very simple to reach the center of Venice with boat that arrives at Piazza San Marco and the irelands of the Northern Lagoon of Venice.
The menu of the dinner was a choice of your travel agency to avoid that in the other restaurants of your long tour you find the same specialities and dishes: we cook every day frishes food of good quality for international and italian guests, but maybe taste can be different.
We hope to see you again.
Best regards from all the staff of Hotel Ca' di Valle

I've booked a 32 sqm "sea view suite" and should pay in advance. It was the most expensive room for 2 persons and I was one of the lame tourist who believed the photos on booking.com. They wanted to give us a mouse hole as "suite" which was not more than 12 sqm. After a big argue they gave a better room but not the suite we booked. It is a great cheat. Fight for your right, After check out they gave us a bottle of vine for their rude behaviour.

I ordered a drink next to the pool and asked the guy if the service charge is inculded he answered no. I gave a service charge but while check out I should pay extra service charge (I served the dring for myself and gave service charge to the waiter).

Breakfast is poor, should wait for free tables.

Elevator is the slowest I've ever seen.

Sunbeds around the pool are damaged andnot enough for the 20% of hotel's guests.

Sunbeds at the sea is a great fun, you will be able to book in advance and it is free! :)

Free parking is a good compliment.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the top floor and fight for your right!

The hotel full of contrasts and surprises. Nice exterior design and horrible interior design. Hotel rooms are small, inconvenient and dirty. All publicly exposed photos of hotel rooms are of fancy apartments that locate on the top floor not of actual hotel rooms.
Cleaning ladies just visited hotel rooms every morning instead of cleaning the rooms or changing towels or sheets.
Breakfast was poor: instant coffee, dry cakes, ham and cheese. No fruits, vegetables or any kind of healthy or fresh choices. Coffee was absolutely marvelous at the Hotel Cavallino Bianco just next to Ca' Di Valle and at the Fortuna Hotel though :)
The pool area and the fancy bar and lounge was super with excellent service and tasty cocktails. On the other hand the service on reception desk was poor.
Ca' Di Valle is an interesting place - shiny from outside and sad from inside.

A friend and I arrived at this lovely hotel with an error on the reservation, mistakenly we had booked 2 nights but Only 1 room for single occupancy. Upon arrival and explaining that it was an error made during the booking, the hotel was fully booked. The staff were pretty lovely and upgraded us to a 1 bed-room lovely apartment for the same price as a twin room. The staff are very friendly and assisted us with the maps and tickets for Venice. The lady/ owner of the hotel was so lovely and always looking out for us. We would highly recommend anyone wishing to visit Venice to stay away from the Island and stay at this hotel. Lovely pool, great breakfast and very quiet.

We would definitely return... Miss Mercy & Miss Barny

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Hotel Ca di Valle. There were 88 of us. The hotel team was absolutely amazing. We could not fault them for their attentive and friendly customer service which is sometimes lacking in hotels in the area. We had a mixture of rooms including all the suites on the top floor. These were amazing. Some of the other rooms were quite small, but perfectly clean and this is not unusual and you shouldn't be spending any time in your room anyway. The reception area was very quirky (in a good way) and the bar very pleasant. I would certainly rate the hotel higher than a 3 star. We had dinner at the hotel on one night which was very good and they laid on some evening entertainment. Our only disappointment was that because of noise regulations they had to finish early, we were having a great time. However the bar stayed open and we were well looked after. I get the impression that they don't usually have such a large group as this is very much a hotel which is designed for families and smaller tour groups. We didn't get to go to the beach unfortunately but was only a short walk away. A lovely hotel, run and managed by some very special people - thank you.

Room Tip: the suites on the top floor are great

We stayed here for 4 nights and it worked out really well. The staff were very welcoming and the service was good. Whilst the rooms aren't huge they are clean and the little balcony was a bonus. The pool is clean but we spent most of our time on the beach which is a super area with really friendly little bars along the beach to visit during your stay. There are plenty of good places to eat locally and we found the food and drink prices really reasonable. All in all a super location and hotel for a short break...
