On our wedding anniversary we had dinner in this family run restaurant. A friend of ours recommended the place and it was worth to try. The staff was very kind and Mario the owner and also the chef of the restaurant welcomed us personally. We had a bit of a friendly chat which made our stay even more unforgettable. On the menu you can find delicious prosecco wine and home made dishes prepared with heart and geniun care from selected, great value ingredients. Defenetely one of the best dining places we have ever been.

Had a really nice meal here while staying nearby. The waiter was extremely helpful choosing wines, the rabbit with pasta was cooked well, and tasty. The artichoke salad with shaved Parmesan was refreshing, light, and delicious.

The entrees of duck with an orange sauce was perfectly cooked, with a really nice sauce and tasty potatoes. The swordfish was the best fish we've had all vacation, with a large spinach side order.

It was night so we couldn't see the wisterias that sound so amazing.

A great find in Cernnobio. We'd easily go back again.

We dined at this restaurant this evening and it was lovely.
The terrace is beautiful with a magnificent 159 year old wisteria rambling over it.
The staff were very pleasant and the food was delicious and there is an extensive wine list.
The boss man Mario Pozzi welcomed everyone personally.
It was reasonably expensive but we thought worth it compared to what we pay at home in Western Australia.
We would go again.

First impression was good and starters were great but with a 40 minutes wait. Main course sounded promising but after another 40 minutes wait our Pasquetta main meal was ice cold making it a very disappointing experience. Cold dish and wine we're not charged thankfully.

I live not far from the Trattoria del Glicine, and I often go there for dinner. I like it especially in winter, because I find their cooking, and the atmosphere, and the furniture, are more suited to the cold months. If you can, I suggest you to avoid saturday, because sometime on saturday the restaurant can be crowded and noisy. Anyway, the quality of food is quite always high, the service is good and the wine list is exellent . Above all, I recommend to taste their "risotto" with mushrooms. Price in the average, you can have a good dinner for about 50 Euros.
