We stayed here one night while traveling from southern Italy to the Tuscany area. It was not that far off the highway, but in an industrial area. However, the hotel was fairly new and very clean and the staff was very pleasant. The room was decent size for Italy and ultra modern. We ate dinner at a restaurant right next door and had a good meal at a reasonable price and it was nice, after driving all day, not to have to get in the car. Breakfast was probably one of the best we had in Italy. A huge selection of yogurt, meats and cheeses, vegetables, breads, sweets, and fruit. Amazing! Parking was underground below the hotel and free. The hotel was a great price.

Not in Chieti, but on an industrial estate outside the town. Might as well not be in Italy. Ugly and completely lacking in character. Bizarre, transparent walls to the toilets and showers - fine if you are an exhibitionist but disconcerting otherwise. No restaurant and the only eatery in walking distance is a truly awful fast food restaurant. Had to keep ringing reception to get bath towels sent up as our room never had any. Fail to understand why anyone would go to Italy and choose to stay here. Wouldn't go back.

I stayed I this hotel in March 2013. My stay lasted 3 nights on a buisness trip.

The hotel itself is very clean, neat & tidy. Staff are helpful and nice, the facilities are all satisfactory ie free wifi and the rooms are nice.

The rooms are all very modern and well-kept, as is the whole hotel that I could see.

The only downfall/s with this hotel, that I found, was the lack of food/drink services. Breakfast in the morning is great and has huge selection but there is no lunch/evening meal service. The hotel is located in the middle of an industrial estate with no shops or restaurant nearby.

Location isn't great but the hotel is very nice for a business trip or short stay.

Right. First of all the hotel is not based in Chieti. It is situated 6 km from in, in an industrial state. No shops, no restaurants, just a few factories, collapsing buildings, busy road and howling dogs. So no, the surrounding is not too beautiful. Our room had a view of a wall. Chieti itself is a charming old town. To get there, you would have to walk for 1.5 h or book a hotel taxi. 10 Euros each way each time.

The room itself is quite different and interesting. Very much Odyssey 2001. I quite liked the interior design of the hotel but the room felt a bit cold and unfinished. The room had a fabulous transparent shower room in the middle of the room which was quite unique and romatic (?) Yet, sadly, the toilet walls are also transparent and made of glass. Not so romantic anymore :)

We booked a hotel pick up service (25 euros) but no one came. After a few phone calls and 1 hour of waiting, the taxi arrived. We were the only people left at the airport.

What else? Many details are missing. For isntance there was no 'do not disturb ' sign so consequently we were woken up by cleaners at 7.30 am, knocking at the door and trying to enter the room...

Yes, the breakfast was good and the staff (ones of few could speak English) were polite and helpful. The hotel is trendy and very clean. So maybe if you are a single traveler with a car, it might be a place for you to stay in. However, if you want to go to CHIETI and be able to walk back to your hotel, book a room in one of the town's B&B. I am intending to do so next time.

This is my second visit to the Parco Paglia this year for business. The industrial estate location is somewhat strange; however the hotel is great value for money. Rooms are modern and clean. The laundry service takes two days which is disappointing, but for long stay visitors (I stayed five days) is a must and I would recommend a same day service. Breakfast was included and was typically continental. Dinner on the other hand is based on "Menu of the Day" and was excellent plus great value.

If you are going to Pescara or Chieti on business and need a good value hotel within reasonabe distance of the airport this is the one for you.
