We visited four times during our two week stay in Chiusi in June 2013. The pizza is great - cooked in a wood fired oven - with fresh ingredients and a very thin crisp crust. The mixed vegetables are also wonderful. They are friendly and gracious hosts, and the young server spoke enough English to help us order. The other patrons seemed to know each other, coming and going, and greeting each other warmly - it seemed like a local family hangout. With a carafe of house vino rosso, it's a great experience.
(I notice many of the Italian reviews give this restaurant three stars but call it "excellent" in the text. I think the average of 3.5 does not do Il Bucchero justice.)
