We were really amazed and touched to discover that Boccaporto opened especially early in order to enable us to have a meal before we drove to Pisa to catch a flight home later that evening. Lucca, the manager and the Roman chef (whose name we didn't get, sorry) were really friendly and generous, serving us a simple but delicious meal of mushroom risotto followed by saltimbocca. We had a lovely meal in the peaceful and pretty Marina. The hospitality was very welcoming and in our case, went above and beyond expectations to accommodate our requirements.
