It connects Cortina d'Ampezzo and Colle Santa Lucia. “Great riding and driving route with scenic view”
Reviewed 22 August 2013

Passo Giau is a must go if you are visiting the dolomites, scenic view up the route, and rewarding when you reached the top! Actual views are much better than the photographs.

Beware of the cyclists and motorcycles if you are driving up the route, there are at least 20 bends up to the top and same amount down.

“Starting point for hiking trips”
Reviewed 13 July 2013

You can get by car there and the place itself offers nice views. But it is also the starting point for a hiking trip to Rifugio Averau, 5Torri and back.
