“Cheap Eats”
Reviewed 9 January 2014

The food pretty good bar fare. They have an excellent salad with pear, speck, soft cheese and nuts. You can get a panini for 5 euro.

“Delicious, reasonable price”
Reviewed 19 September 2013 via mobile

Friendly, very tasty pub food, hearty servings. Extensive selection of paninnis. We had a smoked ham paninni and a chicken salad. The bread in the paninni was exceptional…crunchy outside and very fresh & soft inside. The ham was incredibly tasty with a texture more like a creamy cheese. Awesome. The salad had sliced almonds, celery and mild & soft cheese cubes on top of the greens, with a very smooth dressing. Excellent.
Very reasonably priced at 17 euros, including two sodas.

“always packed”
Reviewed 3 February 2013

food is great, as is beer, but it's really hard to get a table at lunch. I would recommend they allow free seating so that a table for 6 is fully occupied and not just with a couple!

“Charming and available”
Reviewed 5 January 2013

While all restaurants were closed between lunch time and dinner, this nice german-style cafe was a great surprise for us, tourists hungry after a long trip. The omellettes were delicious and the service efficient and kind. I suggest the toast sandwiches which are lighter than the regular ones. Very good for an after ski or a stop during a promenade at the lovely town.

“A good place: I imagine it's even better in Winter”
Reviewed 26 October 2012

I always pop in here with friends whilst in Cortina and am never let down. The food is good and quite cheap and there's a good selection of beers. It's popular with the locals too, which is always a good sign.

For those who complain that it's not Italian enough, I urge you to look into the history of the region and you'll see why.
