It takes a short cab ride at night to reach this spot that you ski past during the day..well worth the effort!
We debated endlessly about choosing this restaurant or Tivoli for our " big night out" in Cortina. A few locals suggested this had a more authentic local feel and we had a memorable evening. Great decor and really well drilled staff.
We let them guide our choice of food and accompanying wine and this was a good strategy

We've all done the crowded restaurants and bars the typify lunchtime in most alpine ski resorts. If a sausage and a beer is your thing while skiing, then skip Baita Pie Tofana. But if the you're up for the finest food you'll ever eat with ski boots on then you're in the right place. Exquisite pastas, creative secondi piatti and an obsession with truffles that would make even the truffle-skeptical sit up and take note. Do take the offer of the house prosecco when you sit down, which unlike most slightly bitter Italian sparkling wine, is as good as anything you'll drink in Reims. This place is expensive but totally worth it -- and on a "budget" take a starter and a pasta and two people will get out for less than €100 even with some decent wine. Be sure to book days or even weeks in advance if you know your dates. At Christmas-New Year there's sun on the terrace till 14:00 and the restaurant is accessible by car so non-skiers can join up for a dolce vita lunch stretching well into the afternoon. Top top recommendation!

The restaurant is a cozy chalet in the forest. Beautiful especially at night. Everything is pretty good even if not really outstanding. We go more for the atmosphere than for the food.

The main problem of this restaurant was that I have nothing too good or too bad to say . It was just OK but that's not a reason to pay 150€ for 2 people
