“Location, accomodation and wonderful owner/operators”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Four of us just spent 17 days in Italy and Empoli Hotel was, by far our very best hotel experience. Empoli is a boutique hotel, very modern and sparkling clean. What made the stay wonderful was 1) the owner/operators Marco and Francesca were smiling, friendly, and helpful...
didn't know two hard working people could smile so unfailingly! 2) the beds were the best we found in 17 days! and 3) the location is excellent. Easy train ride into major points in Tuscany.
We stayed two nights in Florence before arriving in Empoli. We all agreed we wished we had just stayed our whole time in Empoli and trained into Florence every day.
We didn't get much sleep in Florence as we were in a main piazza and it was so very noisy!
When we go next time, we'll stay with Marco and Francesca the whole time in Tuscany. We all came away feeling we had made new friends!

Room Tip: The four of us had two rooms. Both were excellent. They do have some rooms with a bathtub.

Big room, big bed, free car park even though its a tight squeeze! Good wifi connection and friendly staff :) 5kms from the train station! All in all, the price you pay is amazing!! Could never get a big spacious hotel room in Perth for $200 for 2 nights! :)

The Owners are very friendly and give good service. This is a very good boutique hotel with all the right amenities. If you are in the area we do recommend it. We were a family of 5 with two rooms. The owners take the extra step to treat you right.

We stayed a few times at Empolihotel while organising our wedding in the area.

Francesca and Marco really go the extra mile, whether we were looking for taxis, restaurants or anything to do in the region really, they always tried to help us as much as they could !

We ended up booking the entire hotel for the week-end during our wedding and all our guests were very happy about the overall experience !

Highly recommended if you fly to Pisa as it is the perfect location to start a trip in Tuscany !

We stayed as a last minute decision as we had to leave our trip earlier than expected and could not stay in Florence. It was actually the most amazing surprise. The hotel is kind of travel lodge/premier Inn, but with the nicest staff imaginable. The best surprise is the 'farmhouse' down the road, to which we were directed by the hotel for dinner. Words fail me....It was brilliant, amazing...Full of Italian families, eating laughing having fun. The food glorious, the staff charming, kind and lovely. what an atmosphere... Just stay in this hotel for this experience. 33 euros for the best meal you can imagine, with wine, grappa, coffee and liqueur.
