We stayed recently, it is a lovely typical italian hotel of yester year.Lovely and clean ,with rooms on the back overlooking the beach with fabulous views of Gaeta, wonderful sunsets and we had a great relaxing hoilday. The dining room is lovely and the food here is fabulous .Its rooms all have fridges and a minibar ,ours was huge (but we would have like a kettle and a couple of cups, but you cant have it all!)
The only negatives are it is a 30 min walk from the hotel into town ,and although the hotel keeps its beach clean, the surrounding beach is litter strewn and we abandonded walking on it as we felt like we were walking on a rubbish tip.(not the hotels fault ) If we came to the area again we would head for Sperlonga and its well groomed blue flag beaches.

Room Tip: rooms on the back have great sea views

We stayed here in off season, October while traveling with friends. The hotel is of the Grand Old Dame type. It seems to be used mostly by Italians for special occasions and the dining room is absolutely gorgeous with an outdoor eating terrace also. Our rooms were large, clean, comfortable, pretty and opened on to a beautiful, huge terrace directly over looking the sea. We liked the decor of the rooms very much, and even more so the public rooms. The staff was helpful, we ate lunch and dinner there, as it is a little out of the way. Breakfast buffet is mostly cereal, sweet breads and fruit- no protein. There is an elevator if one can't climb stairs. One reviewer of this hotel complained of not enough heat. We had the same problem this trip in late October in Rome and a Roman friend explained that the government restricts heat before November.

Room Tip: Rooms on the terrace level are the things of fantasies. Beautiful views at night.

"a 3* italian experience", good price, rather clean and comfy. pretty far away from center. what I didn't like was the hospital feeling, with ceramic floor, iron bed and so on, white furniture...
pretty far from center.

Room Tip: pick a room with sea view and bathtub

Although the hotel abd rooms are quite outdated, the staff and food make up for it. Also the price is not that high

I recently spent time in the Fagiano Hotel as part of a wedding party. The hotel itself it lovely, with large rooms, many of which have terraces with either sea or mountain view. The sea view rooms were fantastic and the terraces were surprisingly big with lots of room to stretch out and relax. The main hotel terrace where meals were served was beautiful, particularly at night when you can see the whole coastline.

The wedding itself took place in the hotel and the food was fantastic - it was a wonderful place for a wedding reception. But a special word for the staff - particularly Carlos - who were professional and friendly throughout.

Would recommend this hotel.
