We have been going to Forte since 1984. I was a kid. This is a very modern hotel, unlike any other in the town. While waiting for our old favorites to get renovated, we thought we would give the Príncipe a try. WOW! Of course, traveling with an 11year old to a five star hotel, I always hold my breath as to whether he will be treated like a problem or a prince. The staff at the Príncipe treated us all with delightful Italian hospitality. They were always happy to go the extra mile for anything we needed. Everyone remembered our names, including our son's. Oliver would come down to breakfast on his own and was served on like a prince. The hotel itself is just gorgeous. The public areas are all open to the outdoors. The pool area is beautifully designed and comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean. The rooms (we were upgraded) are large a light. The upstairs bar/lounge area has amazing views. The bartender gave my husband a lesson and recipe for a great martini with homemade marinated tomatoes. The beach club is beautiful. The whole beach if Forte is obviously to die for. The lifeguard, Victorio, had great stories to tell and is a certified swimming instructor. He gave Oliver two swimming lessons at the pool and completely changed his strokes. The spa was great. It was our anniversary and I bought my husband his first ever facial. He came back with a new respect for skin care.

Overall, we could not have asked for more. What a great hotel. Thank you to the amazing staff!!

Wow - can't beat the quality experience. The staff is exceptional. The food quality in the restaurant was impeccable. The spa was terrific. The cost is commensurate with top hotels around the world. You only live once - you should stay here at least once - chances are you will want to return.

We stayed twice in quick succession and were really impressed with the service, facilities, architecture, location, food etc. Had superior and standard rooms and were must satisfied. Rooms overlooking the beach or the mountains are obviously preferable. The roof terrace is to die for!! and sitting there in the evening is very special.
The food is excellent both in the hotel and at the beach club, 2 min walk away. The pool area is lovely and nice for lazing about.
It's very pricey, but clearly worth it.
But I have one problem: the beach club Dalmazia is fantastic, clean, excellent food and service, but why charge €50 for using the sun chairs? Seems ridiculous bearing in mind the cost of food and drinks there and indeed the room rates!
Lastly another plus: bicycles are available free of charge and are a great way of exploring Forte and its laughingly many designer shops.

The Principe Forte dei Marmi is a nice hotel and the service is good in general, however the prices are too high for hat it is.
The spa is nice and I received a very nice massage but their private beach is really over priced and they offer a very bad service.
The rooms are nice and comfortable.

Three days in early September were happily spent at this hotel. Absolutely nothing to complain about with respect to our clean, spacious and quiet room. Breakfasts at the hotel were fine too with a helpful and courteoyus staff. The only thing that was surprising to us was that the restaurant at the hotel was sparsely attended at dinner which prompted us to take our meals elsewhere. The hotel's beach facility, barely a five minute walk from the property, was outstanding. Lounge chairs and shaded seating (if you wanted shade) were readily available. and a beach-side restaurant with excellent food and distinctly helpful staff all made a relaxed beach holiday highly enjoyable.
