My husband and I spent 6 nights at the Villa Roma in early June and it is one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed in. Everything from the location, ambiance and service was perfect. The Villa is located in a quiet area about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Forte dei Marmi which made for a very pleasant stroll in the evenings although lots of people cycled and the hotel had bikes for rent. We had booked a romantic double and were staying in Room 22 on the first floor. Like the rest of the hotel, which was absolutely spotlessly clean, it was decorated in beige and creams giving it a really cool and calming feel. The room was a decent size with marble floor, canopied bed, ample wardrobe space with lots of hangers. The bathroom was also a decent size with walk in shower and a lovely box of nice toiletries and good lighting. We had a large balcony with table and chairs which overlooked the gardens and pool area.
The gardens were beautifully maintained with a very nice pool area. There was a mixture of loungers, deck chairs, and chairs and tables round the pool with some more double beds in the garden. As we are not really beach people we were delighted to have such a nice area to relax in.
Breakfasts at the Villa which are included in the room rate have to be one of the best buffet breakfasts we have had. There was a large selection of different fruits, yoghuts, cereals etc with cold meats and cheese. Bacon and another hot dish were available and eggs of any kind could be cooked to order. There were also lots of different breads, pastries and lovely cakes. It was served on the terrace overlooking the gardens so a lovely outlook to start the day. But what really made the breakfasts extra special was the service by Fabrizia and Elisa who were so friendly, cheerful and willing to help. The Villa also did a complimentary tea and cake service between 5 and 6 every afternoon.
Finally - the service. Everyone we encountered, from breakfast staff to reception staff and cleaning staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Staff on reception helped with restaurant bookings, bus timings and even getting a new lock for our suitcase after we had stupidly locked the key in our case the day we arrived and had to get it cut off!
Cannot recommend the Villa Roma Imperiale highly enough to anyone thinking of staying in Forte Dei Marmi.

Room Tip: Some of the other rooms that we saw into did seem a lot smaller than the one had so perhaps worth paying for a Romantic room or above if you can if you want a bit more space.

Dear travelers,

With such a great pleasure I would like to share my excitment about stay in Villa Roma Imperiale!!!
We've spent there 3 fantastic days from 28.08-01.09, but these memories will stay with me forever...
First of all warm, sincere and helpful staff, the main reason why this hotel has his own spirit and soul!
The second factor is, of cource, high level service, everything starts from check in procedure, room make up, set up at breakfast etc.
The third is finest interior decision (color spectrum, furniture, floral compositions, small decorative elements...)
Certanly I shouldn't forget to mention comfortable location, fabulous territory around the hotel and sence of harmony I felt there!
Dear Villa Roma Imperiale TEAM, Thank you so much for such a great pleasure and emotions!

My husband and I went to Forte Dei Marmi on Honeymoon on a reccomendation from our travel agent.

The villa was beautiful. The decore is modern but comfortable with sofas to lounge on inside, abit like your own home! Our room was compact but it is obviously a villa rather than a hotel so a sacrafice of space for atmosphere is a worth while one. Despite this there is enough room, ad is well equipped with part marble shower room and belcony. Rooms are cleaned twice a day.
The pool is beautiful and the pool side beds very comfortable.
Breakfast is great, fresh fruit and pastries, also fresh cooked eggs how you like.
As it is small the staff know all the guests, chatting personably everyday, remembering the little things you like, always smiling and helpful.
They organised train times for us to visit pisa and florence also, saving us time and money.

Unfortunatly our travel agent wasn't aware that the season ends at the end of august and of the 60 plus resteraunts on the beach front only 3 were open! Therefore choose to stay here in high summer. We missed out on the buzz of the place and stuggled to find places to get food.

Other than that, if you would like a super relaxed stay, almost a home away from home, this is a perfect villa.

Room Tip: We were ungraded and I felt our room a little small, so always pay for the upgrade as I asume the normal rooms would be smaller. The suits look perfect though.

We stayed at this fantastic hotel in May 2013. Everything was perfect! The staff at the check-in desk was so personal and service minded. The interior design is beautiful! It´s a combination of Provence, Toscany country side but also Italian seaside. I loved the style - such a luxury feeling. We had booked two rooms as we travelled with kids. Both of the rooms were very comfortable and good in size. Also the interior design in the rooms made me feel that we were close to the ocean. It´s a nice white/beige seaside feeling in the rooms. Everything is nice and clean. All the rooms at the groundfloor had a nice little private terrace facing the garden and the pool. Another positive thing is the location of the hotel. It´s located in a quiet neighborhood so you don´t get disturbed by the nightlife when you are about to sleep yet it is walking distance both to the beach or the "downtown" area. There are bikes at the hotel that they let you borrow. Last but not least...the breakfast! Yummi! You could have everything you ask for. The setting was beautiful with a view over the garden. Once again the staff in the morning were also so service minded and friendly. We will definately go back to this hotel as soon as we get a chance and I can recommend this hotel to all of you! This is a hotel for both romantic weekends or with kids as they have a beautiful garden with a nice pool.
