Radisson Blu Resort, Terme di Galzignano

We did spend few nights in this hotel.
The location is ok, but you should have a car so you can see the area more.
There Battaglia terme train station is 15 min. walk from the hotel.
The room we had on the majestic building was really nice and clean.
The staff was not so service minded, which might be because they didn´t speak good english.
Breakfast was good and there is lots of sweet pastries to choose from.
Outdoor pools were nice and there are plenty of sunbeds.

Great and spacious hotel. Facilities are not bad, pool is wonderful.

But the wi-fi really doesn't work, I have to rely on my own 3G network to gain internet access the entire duration. During my stay (Jul 2014), the air conditioning just doesn't work very well. At one point in time, air con in the room was down for the entire afternoon in the midst of 33 degrees hot day. After it was "fixed", temp was maintained at 28-29 degrees no matter what setting you adjust it to be.

Please sort out your internet and air conditioning!

The hotel has 3 buildings and we stayed in Majestic one. Rooms were fresh and looks like recently renovated. Free WI FI, in-room safe, good quality bathroom amenities and a balcony.
There were no tea making facilities in the room but when we asked we were immediately brought a kettle and cups. Very good service! Were really impressed with the swimming-pools - large and lots of jacuzzi etc. The temperature was also very comfortable. Breakfast was of a good quality with an ok choice of cold cuts and pastry but I personally missed porridge.
I would also recommend to visit spa - very good atmosphere and local Eco products. Worth the money spent.
There's also free parking if you travel by car.
Overall recommended especially if you're traveling around Italy and plan to visit Venice as it's only 30 min driving from the hotel. Petrarka house is also just few minutes drive.

This is a great spot with pools, spa and great location for visiting Padua and Venice. I did however need to do some work whilst away on vacation and have to say was left underwhelmed by the hotels ability to provide WiFi. Throughout the time I was there 3 days, was unable to get access to WiFi, it said there were to many subscribers, I even tried logging on a 2.30am and 7am and still no joy.

Take the opportunity to visit Padua, it is fantastic, also has free WiFi in the main square

We went there with a group of people whish was more than 40 people. And they sold us an internet for 5 euro which was not working in the rooms. Almost 30 people bought it and they didn't tell it before selling and neither they did help us. Also the lady which was handling the situation treated us badly.
Also we had to walk almost 2 km for breakfast.
I would never ever stayed there again.

We went there as part of a Fam group. This is why I will not complain on the breakfast since I’m sure it relates to the low fare that was paid by the group organizers. Still, while in Italy, the least you can get is a descent coffee at breakfast. We didn’t.
There are 3 buildings. We stayed at the “Splendid”. The hotel itself is fine. We stayed at the “Splendid” building, rooms are clean and renovated. The pools are good. Nice place. My complaints are on the bad service. All you receive are 2 small shampoo bags and 2 very small Lux soaps. The following day we didn’t even receive that, not to mention that the wraps from last night were still there after the room was cleaned. When we asked for more shampoo they told us “the man is not here” (does this mean I can’t wash my hair today?) when I pushed, the reply was “ok, ok he will bring you later.” I’m still waiting. We ended up coming down the next day to get it ourselves.
For 2 nights (out of 3) we had to go down to the lobby because the card keys didn’t open the doors. Imagine 50 people at 2 am going up and down the stairs for the same reason. Annoying.
In general, when you ask for something you receive “faces” from the stuff. This is really un pleasant and spoil what could have been a great hotel experience.

Room Tip: 410 was a good room. Has a large balcony facing the pool. Probably all rooms in the building that en...
