Recently at Vini Italy and stayed 3 nights at Regina Adelaide in south part of Garda lake. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and go for the jr-suite and You will have a balcony facing the lake. Breakfast was good and also the restaurants ( one fine-dining and one simpler ). Good wine-list with decent prices. For sure, we will be back!

An outstanding hotel in every respect. Very helpful and polite reception team. Most knowledgeable and professional restaurant staff. Very efficient yet friendly. Two restaurants. Both superb. The hotel sits about 50 meters from the edge of the lake in the village of Garda. Perfectly placed for exploring the whole area. Buses will take you up the East cost to the top of the lake, Ferries criss cross the lake to all points West. The hotel is a classic Italian Villa style building with lots of wood panelling and the feeling of age yet with all modern facilities. The rooms have high ceilings creating extra space and are warm and cosy. We reviewed the place on Trip Advisor before going and it lived up to all the good reviews. No hesitation to recommend this hotel.

Room tip: A room facing the lake will give you some views of the water.

Just spent 5 nights on half board. Excellent value as "low" season, although on our last full day the sun shone all day and the temperature was 21c.
Breakfast was buffet style, with the eggs being cooked as you like them. Dinner was 4 courses, fixed starter although a salad could be taken, choice of 3 for next two courses and help yourself to wonderful deserts. Bedroom a good size, on first floor with terrace overlooking garden, park and lake view. The internet was down for 36 hours, which taught us to plan ahead for any trips, as we ended up waiting an hour for a train, which was then 20 minutes late. Not having "hard copy" information for events like this was the only negative point.

Room tip: First floor with terrace overlooking lake.

We stayed here for 7 nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded from a Junior Suite room to a Loft Suite. Our room was extremely spacious with a huge comfortable bed, ample wardrobes, drawers, cupboards etc. and a fabulous large bathroom with bath, shower, bidet, toilet and washbasin. We also had a lovely view of the Lake from our spacious balcony which had sunbeds, table and chairs and ran the whole length of the room accessed from no less than 3 patio doors. There was also a safe and a mini bar in the room too.

The facilities in the hotel were excellent - indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness and spa rooms, sauna and steam room, games areas, bar, restaurant, pool bar and plenty of areas to sit and relax both inside and outside the hotel. The hotel staff also kindly arranged a day trip to Venice for us.

We were only booked in for bed and breakfast and the breakfast was more than adequate with something available to suit all preferences. We did use the hotel restaurant once for an evening meal and this was very good. We do however, prefer to try out a variety of restaurants in the area we visit.

The location of the hotel is perfect being right on the front beside the Lake. The harbour from which you can get boats to travel to other towns on the Lake is only a 15 minute walk away. There are loads of restaurants less than 5 minute walk away and there are lots of lovely shops to browse around.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will certainly use it ourselves again if we return to Garda.

Room tip: Choose a room on a high floor on the Lake side as trees may block your view of the Lake.
