Another wonderful short break in Giadini Naxos with our Hosts and now Friends Maria Giovanna & Francesco. Having been there before and now our 4th visit and hopefully more to come. Can't but praise their lovely B&B, it's Tranquility - Cleanliness - Coloured rooms instead of Nos - Friendliness - Parking - Large Garden full of all kinds of Trees (Orange Lemon Olives Mango Kaki Avocado you name it) - Super View of Etna. Always sending my friends and all come back with great compliments Have nothing more than praise. Will be back sooner than later!

Room Tip: All rooms are great, just decide whether you want to be up or downstairs!

The bnb is located on a quiet street in Giardini and away from the traffic and congestion of Taormina. Francesco, the proprietor greeted us with open arms on arrival and was very helpful in orienting us to the area, with suggestions for activities and restaurants in the area. The gardens of the property is gorgeous with fruit trees and flowers. Breakfast is set out in the garden with wonderful views of Mount Etna smoking awayinthe distance. Francesco and his wife make you feel comfortable and at home with serving breakfast. The homemade orange and lemon jams are spectacular along with the selection of Sicilian cookies and cakes (Pistachio was our favorite and we sneaked a few for our day trips). The rooms are spacious and very clean with curtains to make them dark for sleeping. There is an upstairs terrace for your enjoyment as well. Parking inside the gated compound is plentiful.

The most unforgettable experience we had was when Francesco took great care of my wife who had been sick during the trip. He took time off from his duties to take her to a local Doctor in his own car and stayed with her during the visit and provided translation. This was all on a Saturday when offices were closed and pharmacies hard to find. He then took her to a local pharmacy to buy medicines and brought her back to the bnb. The rest of the day and the next, he kept inquiring of her health and made offers to get whatever she needed. This was truly going out of the way to make a guest feel at home. This was truly a home away from home for us. Late in the evening after every one had gone to bed, his wife brought out the Lemoncello for us to share and we communicated through my limited Spanish and her Italian.

The BnB is very close to the beaches of Giardini, and Taormina is short drive away. It is also a good base for exploring the Mt. Etna region and base camp for hiking is about an hour drive. Overall, this bnb offers great value and a relaxing place to unwind for a few days when in Sicily.

Room Tip: All rooms are comfortable and quiet with balconies that overlook the garden. Ask for the rooms which...

This place is simply amazing from every point of view. It surprises you from the time of your arrival, when you park your car inside what that can only be defined as a botanic garden (better indeed than the one you may see at the gates of the Alcantara gorge), name a fruit tree (from lemon to mango, from oranges to carambole) I bet you are able to find it there. Everything is run by the owner, Francesco, and his family who welcome you with open hands and whose kindness is genuine. Their advices about the surroundings are very helpful (even if you carefully planned your trip in advance). The rooms are furnished with taste and styles, bathrooms are large and clean, the view of the Etna Volcano from the balconies is a plus. Breakfast is rich (no salt plates though) and the home made pastries and jams are a treat. The location is ideal for a tour of Mount Etna, for a trip to Taormina and the beaches, for a hike in the Alcantara gorge and, of course, for Giardini Naxos. Strongly recommended.

This is a very good B&B just few Km away from Taormina. The owners are all very pleasent and nice while the rooms offer all the comforts. The price is very good for the quality offered here. I would definitely recommend to go. Giorgio & Marian

Room Tip: Stunning view from most of the bedrooms

The B&B is located in a great point for travellers who don't like changing a hotel or B&B every night and yet visiting all the main attractions on the east side of Sicily.Very close to Giardini Naxos beautiful beach,Mt. Etna,Taurmina,Alcantara , and not very far frome Syracuse.
Rooms are very clean and welcoming.Bed is comfortable, air condition in the rooms. We hired all 3 rooms in the ground floor. Each room has it's private exit to a small garden, with a table and some chairs,a wonderful corner to start your day in,or relax at the end of the day.It is also possible to ask for a mini fridge in the room (in a symbolic charge).
The view from the B&B is wonderfull. You can see Mt. Etna as if you can touch it.It's surrounded by trees, flowers, birds and butterflies.
Breakfast is quite rich.you have everything one needs.
fresh fruites, warm croissants, rools, cheese, olives, cerials, cakes and cookies, juice, and good coffee. It is served in the outside terrace, surrounded by the beautiful view and voices of nature only.

Maria Giovanna and Francesco the owners of this B&B are so warm and friendly. They take care of everything you need, help you with good advice for your trip, roads, restaurants etc.from the first moment you feel like a member of the family. They always smile, sit for a small talk with you,ask about your plans, and share the good moments with you. They surprised us one afternoon with cakes and wine,as it was one of the couples anniversary day. They always welcomed us with a smile in the morning.and when we were back.It was very difficult leaving them, but we hope we now have a new family in Sicily. No doubt we will come back to Villa MariaGiovanna if we are back in Sicily.

This little B&B is a refuge of peace and tranquility with Sicilian charm. The B&B sits amongst an orchard and beautiful gardens overlooking Mt Etna hidden behind a stone wall. The rooms are spotlessly clean and charming and we wanted for nothing. The B&B is large with a beautiful terrace and lovely nooks to sit and read. Breakfast was wonderful with warm croissants and homemade preserves made from the owners own fruit. It was relaxing to have breakfast outside looking across to Mt Etna with birds flying amongst the trees around us and soaking up the warm sun.
But this is not what makes this B&B special. What makes this place special are Francesco and Giovanna, our warm and friendly hosts. They treated us like family. Genuine Sicilian hospitality at its best.
We were unfortunate to have a medical emergency which required us to go to the hospital. Francesco insisted on coming with us and waited outside for three hours. When we returned to the B&B he made us tea with toast and later called again to make sure everything was ok.
This truly is a charming place. We were very sad to depart but feel we now have some really good friends in Sicily !
