WE cased the restaurant before making a booking for the following day! At that time about 22.00 only one table was occupied and we explained the purpose of our visit. We quickly discovered that one of the diners was English and that we had mutual acquaintances back home. We booked for the following evening a table immediately overlooking the sea (not the outside terrace- because in early May the evening are cool)
We resisted the fish of the day being unfamiliar to paying by weight and chose instead the fish soup-minimum 2 persons as our main course. A carafe of wine and coffee brought the total bill to 73 euros. The seaview , the service, the quality of food , made the trek from the main road more than worthwhile. The owner speaks seven languages so communication is like so much of Sicily"no problem"
