It is a small hotel in a good position for beach and attractions, very good value for money. The husband and wife owners are friendly and helpful and have a great asset in their receptionist. She is so happy and willing to help, and gives her job 100 and 10 per cent, she made our holiday a lot easier.
The only 2 negative things I would say are, no cool box or mini bar in rooms to keep drinks cool and back bedrooms get noise from railway line close by.
The bedrooms are lovely, towels and bed linen changed frequently, the hotel is very clean throughout, hot water available all the time.
Very good value for money and I would definitely go back.

Room Tip: The hotel has no lift so if you have mobility problems ask for lower floor, and back rooms have nois...

This is a most unusual hotel right in the middle of the marina. The rooms are quite small and the bathrooms tiny., but it was very clean and the breakfast was ok. There were very interresting decorative pieces all around the hotel, paintings, icons, pieces of pottery. Our only complaint was that a double room consisted of two small single beds pushed together that seemed to move apart during the night. Air conditioning was good and shutters kept out noise and light. Parking is difficult near the hotel. The street is closed off from about 8 o'clock every evening starting the end of July and all through August so if you want to park your car near hotel get it there before 8.

On arrival we were on the third floor with no lift. As one of us had back problems we asked to be moved. Even though they did not have another room for the full week we were offered a room on the first floor with a balcony for three nights and one to the side of the hotel for the remainder of our stay. So we stayed in three different rooms and each one was very basic but clean. Towels were changed daily and bed linen evey other day. Breakfast was continental as expected. Hotel itself is very basic but spotlessly clearn and nothing more than expected for the price we paid. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is ideally situated for beach holiday and the beaches in the area are free. There are lots of places to eat along the seafront which were very reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.

Room Tip: Ask for room to the front with balcony. You will have to pay more for it but it is worth it.

The hotel has a location just 25 m straight from the sea and 100 m from a beach with fine sand, and it is for free in the area close to the hotel. The rooms are really clean and the pieces of art that have been collected by the owners on display in the corridors are very impressive. We enjoyed our stay very much and will come back. It is a two-star hotel, but the sleep quality is better than in many three stars in the south of Italy. The only side note is that the rooms with the side view suffer from noise from the nearby railway. Thank you for great stay our dear hosts.

My wife and I (both retired) recently spent a week in the Villa Mora.
We enjoyed our stay. The resident owners were very helpful-- Anne, for general advice ( where to go / what to do)- and Nando, who served a very good breakfast each morning ( nice coffee)
The hotel was very clean and full of local artefacts. It has a very good position - near to sea and to bus stops. A useful extra - residents get a discount at a nearby restaurant and at well- run lidos on the beach.
We hope to return to the Villa Mora next year.

We stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The rooms are clean and quite basic but totally adequate. We had sea views and a balcony which was nice. The bathroom had the odd spot of paintwork that needed attention but nothing serious. Air con worked fine. Plenty of clean towels daily. I thought the hotel had a nice vibe and the staff were very helpful.
The German manageress, mentioned on this site previously, was direct and occasionally could appear brusque but was also helpful and we had several pleasant chats.
Giardini Naxos is a good base for exploring that side of Sicily and the bus service to Taormina is excellent.

Hotel was lovely and clean and nicely dercorated. There are two rooms that are called superior - you must ensure you book one of these or do not book at all - they do cost extra. The owner is a control freak and very unpolite - like she is doing you a favour by letting you stay there. Very poor customer service skills. We felt like Children under her control. A few times there were errors with change given and we felt this happened a bit to often - although always corrected! You have to pay a parking fee of €6.00 euro from 10am to 10pm and from 10pm to 10am - so allocate another €12.00 into the price of your stay. You are not allowed to take the bath towels to the beach- you can rent however for 3.00 per day (dont be fooled into thinking you can sneak one out as Furlong will know!) You can buy for € 7.00 down the street. All said it was a lovely stay and owner must be met for the pure entertainment value but be fore warned.
