Hotel fine, food absolutely dire. Either a miniscule piece of fish or 1 other choice Veal escalope neither of which were great. No lovely anti pasta dishes, like roasted veg 1 choice PASTA with a bland sauce on same. Oh I forgot 1 night Fish soup was 1 of the main courses. Fish never had a slice f lemon on same and I would have expected to see some olives somewhere or another,Cheapest bottle of wine on menu was 14.50 euro and not a sign of a bottle of chianti anywhere. I actually went to bed hungry every night , I tend to be semi vegetarian but would have starved to death if I was looking for anything resembling. The total holiday incl 1/2 board cost me 950 euro, a total and utter rip off As for Giadini Naxos forget it, there is absolutely nothing to do there there is not even a shopping area, nor an ATM machine. Go to Taormnina where ther seems to be plenty of life and leave Giardini Naxos with its crumbling houses and nothing to do.

Room Tip: Do bot go here if you are looking for somewhere lively, there is absolutely no attractions what so e...

We spent 5 nights of our sicilian holiday in this hotel. It really is great value for money.

The rooms, and the entire hotel, are beautiful and clean. Breakfast was small but lovely. As there are not many rooms, the hotel has a very relaxed, quiet and friendly atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The mini-bar is reasonably priced and the balconies, a lovely bonus.

Only issue, lack of wifi in the rooms. There is wifi in communal areas at a cost, but only wired access in the rooms which we felt was a little old-fashioned.

Overall, great value. Highly recommended. Could easily be 4 star!

Room Tip: You can park on the street outside the hotel for free. The road is busy, but we had no problems leav...

We stayed at Hotel Villa Daphne in Giardini Naxos for a total of 6 days and it was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is small and has only 22 rooms so it is very quiet and ideal for a relaxing holiday. The rooms are also fully equipped with everything you need and are quite big (we had the standard rooms overlooking Mount Etna and Taormina. Its location was perfect as it was only a minute's walk away from the bus stop from where you can catch a bus to Taormina, Isola Bella, etc. The beach (Recanati beach) is not more than 10 minutes away and the area is full of great restaurants and cafes which serve amazing food.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone planning a holiday in Naxos!

Room Tip: The superior rooms are found overlooking the pool area whilst the standard rooms are on the facade o...

The second time we stayed at Villa Daphne. Gaetano and his staff made/make every effort to let their guests feel at ease. Although the hotel was full you never have the feeling the place is packed as in other hotels. See you next year Villa Daphne!

Set just away from the beach front in a quite location plenty of free parking space right outside( at least in July) not sure in peak August.?This modern but traditional hotel is small with lovely garden and pool. Our nice size room faced onto the road beyond the garden but the sound proofing was excellent with little or no noise to disturb a comfortable night.A small improvement could I think be made with breakfast a little limited in variety, such a high standard of fresh baking and produce we found everywhere in Sicily. We stayed for a week and had lots of help from the front desk staff who were very friendly.A perfect spot for couples, we had a car to get around but plenty of people used the bus just 100 yds.away, next to the tourist information office which is quite useful.
Sicily is a wonderful place to visit such a variety of things to do and see .Taormina and its Greek theatre are wonderful,as is a trip to the summit of Etna if you have the energy,an unforgettable experience.

We went to Sicily for our honeymoon and stayed here for 10 days. Well we can truly say it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Location is superb. 50 meters from the bus stop from where you can go anywhere. Buses to Taormina are nearly every 15 mins. Taormina town is well know so for that its crowded and expensive so if you are looking for value for money Giardini Naxos is the place to stay. Hotel is located in nicer and quieter part of town. Its very closed to the beach. There is plenty of restaurants near by (especially gorgeous "Sea Sound") and local supermarket with deli. Our room was specious with a pool view. Couldn`t wish for a better one.
What stands out above the rest is the very friendly, professional and helpful staff.
We loved everything and will definitely come back in the future:-)

I stayed at this hotel on a recent trip to Sicily. The location is very convenient however Giardini itself was completely dead, this may be because I went during April but it was quite disappointing. Another problem with going here out of season was that the hotel pool didn't open until May. Had I of known the pool woulnt have been open I probably would have considered a different hotel.

Fortunately Taormina is only a 20min bus journey away and the bus stop is right outside the hotel.

The staff here are very helpful and breakfast each morning was really nice. The rooms were a lot smaller than expected but that wasn't too much of a problem.

Would recommend this hotel but not after suggesting Taormina is a much nicer location stay even if it is slightly more expensive.
