“THE place to go for pizza in Grado”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

After a huge disappointment in San Gimignano, this was a pizza heaven. The restaurant has a large outside terrace and very nice waiters. This was the only place with proper couvert, since everywhere else you pay 1.50 - 2.00 EUR for couvert, but hardly get a piece of bread. Here you get grissini and olives. We had 2 pizzas, and both were great. While peeking at other tables :) we saw that the salads looked great, as did the prosciutto and melon antipasti.

“Giotto's pizzas”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

There were many years that i'm not going back to this place but pizzas are always great as they were 20 or more years ago.
The pizzas looks like to be made from Giotto, they're perfectly round with a delicious crost outside.
The quality of the ingredients it's top notch but unfortunately due to some law restrictions they're cooked into an electric oven.
Anyway keep it in mind, it's a great place to go.

ps: on high season period be careful about the queue for the sitin.

“Something for everyone!”
Reviewed 25 June 2013 via mobile

Whilst taking an evening stroll with my grandmother (85) we stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to have dinner. It is a place for all ages and I would suggest the inside for the older generation as it offers a bit more tranquility than the vivacious patio where the Grado energy pleasantly surround you. We sampled a few dishes, a few wines and ended our meal with a tasty lemon cello and melon lemon cello variation. What impressed me the most was the staff. Our waiter Salvadore spoke English and truly went out of his way to make sure we felt welcomed. Needless to say my Austrian grandmother speak no Italian and mine consists of a terrible French/ Spanish combination which tends to lead most Italians to resort to their German or English.

My tip to you is ... Be polite and courteous. You are in their country. It's more so up to you to learn Italian and figure out how to order than it is for them to speak your language. A smile, thank you and respect goes a long way.
